Misadventures at Hogwarts: Term 2

I was sent up to bed. I flew down the corridors silently. When I got to the dorm, I landed on Cassidys bed. I walked all over her legs trying to wake her up, trying not to be seen by any of the other girls.
 
Cassidy woke up with a start, from a nightmare she had been having. She heard a scream, and realized that it was her. She quickly clamped her hands over her mouth, and looked around to see if anyone had heard. Cold sweat ran down her face. She looked startled to see the falcon at her feet.

"Karli?" she said groggily, sitting up slightly. "What is it?"

It was early morning, and despite Cassidy's fatigue, she wanted to just get on with her day. She looked at the falcon expectantly, waiting for an answer...
 
I twitched my head constently. I flew up, and perched right on the end of Cassidys bed. I looked around again, and transformed. I was now sitting on the end of Cassidy's bed.
"Dumbledore,wants to see me tommorow morning. What do you think its about?" I asked cautiously.
 
Cassody lay back down, relieved it wasn't an immediate emergency. She ran her hand through her short blond hair, which was now sticking up in every direction. She picked herself up and sat on the side of her bed, her feet dangling. She looked at Karli.

"I'm not sure," she told her. "I bet it has something to do with last night though."

She paused for a moment, her expression conveying a sudden realization. She became tense.

"I wonder why he hasn't wished to talk to me about what Snape and I encountered in the Forbidden Forest?" she said suddenly. "Hang on a sec, Karli."

She dashed into the bathroom, took a fast shower, dressed in her Hogwarts uniform, ran a brush through her hair and over her teeth, and picked up her bo. She studied in with a slight twinge of distaste. It had split even more since the fight with the troll. She then proceeded to open her cedar chest, the scent leaping at once into the room, and filling her heart with thoughts of home.

Cassidy withdrew a knife, slipping it into her robes.

"I'm going outside to make a new bo," she said, explaining the use of the knife. "I think I am going to send a message to the wand shop in Diagon Alley to see if they can put a spell on it to bind it with my wand. That way, I can just say a spell, and it will turn into my bo."

She shouldered her book bag, and looked at Karli.

"You can come with me if you want," she offered. "And we can talk about your meeting some more if it will make you feel better. I'm afraid you may have to talk about some stuff you weren't willing to talk about before, so it's okay if you don't want to."

The sun was just peeking over the horizon, and Cassidy waited patiently for Karli to think it over.
 
"No, I better go now..." I said, turning into a falcon. I flapped my wings several times before taking off, and I flew down the corridors, to Professor Dumbledores office. Dumbldore was waiting outside of the hidden staircase, that led to his office.
"Ah, if you will come in Miss Linin" he said.
He said his password (chocolate frog) and we went up the stairs. I landed right on the comfy chair, and transformed myself.
"Well, as you probaly know, this is about you being a unregistered Animagus"
"Im...well...." I stuttered.
"Say nothing, it is quite alright" he said calmly. I nodded my head and he continued.
"Professor McGonagall has registered you. This necklace will tell that you are a Animagus, and this symbol in it, is what represents you"
He handed me a golden chained necklace. On the end was a black jewel, and in the middle, there was two purple wings. I put it on my neck.
"Now about last night..." he said.
"Im sorry about not going to the dormitory..." I said, but he continued.
"Quite alright, quite alright. The man, was sent the Azkaban. Those terrible Dementors came to get him. The troll....dead. Everyone will keep quiet about last night, though, you being a Animagus might not"
I nodded again, and he said. "That is all...and dont get it wet"

I transformed back into a falcon, and flew out into the corridor. It was a Satuday, so I was free to do anything I wanted. I flew outside, and landed on a tree. Before I knew it, one Slytherin boy appeared into sight. I watched his every movement. I looked down. My necklace danged against my feathered chest. I saw a rock. I swooped down, and grabbed it. I then flew over to the boy, and dropped the rock on his head.
"Ow!" he said. "Stupid bird" I flew back over to the tree, and fell asleep.....

I woke up the next morning to see Karli leave.
Off to see Dumbledore I assume... I thought.
I walked to the Great Hall. I was the only one there. I got myself some Coco Pops and began to eat.
 
I woke up five minutes later with a start. Other kids started coming out of the school. They crowded around the tree. I lifted my foot, and spread my wings.
"I have never seen that kind of bird before!" said a boy. "Really? Thats a falcon" said a girl. "Whats that on his chest!?" said another boy.
"Its a Animagu medallion!" said the same girl as before. At that time I flew away. I flew to the Great Hall, where I started to look for my friends.
 
Cassidy walked down to the forbidden forest. She was about to climb a tree to cut a perfect branch for her bo, but Hagrid stopped her.

"'Ere now!" he said, puffing himself up. "What's a sapling like you doin' at the edge o' the forest?"

"Ah, sorry," she said, and walked over to him. "I need a good bit of wood...for a bo."

"Oh, I got some down by me shed," he told her, leading her towards his hut. His voice continued in a low undertone. "That was bloody brilliant...what you did for Snape last night."

"So you know!" she exclaimed, then hushed her voice. "Everyone else thought it was normal detention! You've got to help me, Hagrid! Everyone thinks I'm crazy!"

"Can't do," he told her sadly. "Dumbledore's orders. It stays between us four, and no one else."

They had reached his shed, and Cassidy looked through the piles of lumber. She found a piece of maple, and after hefting it in her hands, looked at Hagrid triumphantly.

"Is it okay if I take this one?" she asked.

"Sure thing," he told her. "Good luck with it!"

"Thanks!" she exclaimed, sending the wood to her room with a spell, along with the knife. She hurried to breakfast at the Great Hall to join her friends. She saw Batesy and Karli, and hurried to sit with them.
 
I saw Cassidy, and changed back.
"Lots of people know Im a Animagus. I hope they dont think Im dangerous" I said.
 
"Oh, I wouldn't worry too much," Cassidy reassured her, casting a suspicious glance at a group of Slytherins. She frowned. "I think being able to change forms is pretty cool. I wish I could do that!"

Suddenly, Cassidy spotted Kaze, her albino owl, flying by with the post. The owl dropped a letter into her expecting palms, and would not leave until she had given him a slice of bacon. He flew off towards the Owlry once more, mission accomplished.

Cassidy tore open the letter. Before she read it, she recognized her mother's handwriting. She frowned slightly. She knew what this was all about...

Hello Cassidy!

It's Mum. I hope things are going well with you at Hogwarts! I am so excited that you finally wished to go, and I have some great news for you! Andrew will be coming to join you tomorrow! Your father finally decided that he should be allowed to go to wizzarding school as well, since he has a good knack for magic. He'll be arriving tomorrow morning, bright and early, so be sure to greet him, and get along with him as best you can.

You should write to your father. He misses you a lot.

Cassidy rolled her eyes, and crumpled the paper. She shoved it in her pocket, and took a bite of her pancakes. She scrunched her nose, and took a gulp of orange juice.

"That's just what I need..." she scowled bitterly. "My oh-so-wonderful and talented twin brother here at Hogwarts!"
 
"You have a brother? I never knew that. And a twin to!" I chuckled. "I dont have a brother....I hardly have family. Your lucky" I said, as I started to eat some of my bacon. Feather Duster flew down infront of me. The Daily Prophet was attached to her leg. I took it off, and read the front cover.
"Nothing important" I said, throwing the paper away.
 
OOC: Hi, were are we? (I don't know were to start, but I read it) I wasn't on yesterday (even though it looked like I was)
 
OCC: Karli and Cassidy are at breakfast. Some people just found out that Karli is a Animagus, and the mail just arrived. Hope that helps!
 
OOC: Thanks, it did!
BIC: I had just come down to brekfast, after dressing and doing my usal stuff. I
Quickly, I spotted Karli and Cassidy, waved to them, and went over.
 
OCC: Pleasure!

IC: "Hi Terra", I said, waving back. "Are you okay about last night?"
 
OOC: Ah, so you're using a green font.:) I was always thinking of doing mine blue...
I nodded. "I was a bit shaken up though." Saying this, I sat my self down beside her.
"So, isn't it weird?..."
 
OCC: Yep, I thought it was time for a change. Im also using Comic Sans MS.

IC: "Whats weird?" I asked her curiously.
 
"You know, people knowing that you can turn into something else? Of course only a few people know about my tranformo." I said, reffering to the time last year when I had.... Changed in the lake... Into my half Siren form.
 
"I guess....but you dont have a necklace around your neck to prove it..." I said. "I dont know why Dumbledore wants people to know that I am a Animagus"
I took my necklace off, and handed it to Terra.
 
I examined it. "That's strange...." I said, now reffering to Dumbledore wanting people to know about Karli's animagus self. Handing it back to her, I took a bowl, poured some milk and cornflakes into it, and spooned some into my mouth.
