Misadventures at Hogwarts: Term 2

"Check Mate!" I said when my Queen trapped Terra's King.
 
"Pretty good game!" I said. "What do you want to do now?"
"Beat up the King!" Said the Queen.
"Not you! I was talking to Terra!"
 
"Well I'll go to bed!" I told her picking up my chess set. "See you tommorow morning!"
I kissed her on the cheek and walked up to my dorm.
 
"Oh, let's see..." Cassidy pondered, reaching into her pocket. She pulled out a piece of parchment, and unfolded it carefully. "I've got Herbology first thing, then Defense Against the Dark Arts. Potions is next...I heard Snape is a litte tough. History of Magic is after that, and then Charms, and then at night I have Astronomy. I hope I'll do well in all of these."

She smiled, setting the parchment on the table for Berii to read. She took a final sip from her goblet before setting it down beside her plate firmly, and sighing with satisfaction of a good meal. Her eyes wandered as she let Berii read over the shcedule.
 
I put a hand up to my cheek. "See you..." I murmered, and walked up to my dorm, finished the last of my work, and then changed into my pyjamas.
 
I sat in bed. I couldn't get myself asleep. There was nothing to do. I was so bored. And thinking of Terra kept me wide awake.
 
Restless, I was very restless. I was awake, and didn't know why I wasn't sleeping by now.Okay okay, maybe I shouldn't be awake, but... I keep thinking about this afternoon.... Can't keep him out of my head.
 
Man, Terra looks to pretty to keep out of my head! I thought when I was lying in bed. Why can't I get her out of my head? I need sleep but i can't get that pretty girl out of my mind!!!
 
As Berii looked at Cassidy's schedule, she smiled. "Let's see...We have Potions, History of Magic and, Astronomy together. We have three classes together." She yawned as she looked at her watch. "Oh, and what you've heard is right, Professor Snape is really tough." she yawned again. "Anyway, it's getting late, we better go to the dorm now." she said as she stood.
 
You're in my head..... Can't stop thinking about you, Josh....
Eh heh. Great. That stupid little voice in my head.
Looked cute didn't he? Handsome in fact?
I sighed out loud.
He did... He's so nice...
 
I was still thinking about Terra.
"Stuff this!" I said getting up and going to Snowy's cage.
I wrote a note to Terra.

Dear Terra,
Can you get to sleep? I can't! I can't stop thinking about you! You're too pretty!

I attached it to Snowy and opened her cage.
"Can you take this to Terra?" I asked.
She hooted and flew off to the girl's dorm.
 
A tap at the window.... I recognised it as
"Snowy!" I let her in, then unattached the scroll on her leg.
I read it, blushed for a minute or so, then wrote back.

Dear Josh,
I can't get to sleep either. I can't stop thinking about you either! In turn, you're too nice, funny, and cute!

P.S- Thanks for teaching me Wizard's Chess today.
P.P.S.- I think I should rephrase that.'Handsome' is more like the word. and then, I sent it off.
 
I read Terra's message.

Thanks! Do you want to see the kitchen for food from the House Elves at some point?

I read the message and tried to get to sleep. Still, no luck!
 
"Sounds like a plan," Cassidy said, standing up and stretching her lean form. She shut her eyes tightly as her back popped sharply. She let out a big breath, and followed Berii out of the Hall.

The great staircases groaned and scraped as they moved, caring not for the students who got mixed up or lost their way. Cassidy watched the bewitched painings suspiciously as she and Berii climbed the stairs.

"Anything I should worry about here at Hogwarts?" Cassidy asked, grinning. She was beginning to like this new school more and more...
 
"Well for me, the only thing you need to worry about is Professor Snape." she as she grinned. When they got to the seventh floor, Berii walked towards the Fat Lady portrait.

"Password?" the lady said in an emotionless tone.

"Boulderdash." she said. The portrait opened and Berii led Cassidy to the girl's dorm.


OOC: That's what Batesy wrote for the password right?
