OOC: Raichu Tamer, is DADA your second class of the day? If not, I can edit my post!
IC: Cassidy watched Dumbledore with the utmost calm, but inside she felt panic. All those objects, flying at her. She grimaced, and picked herself up off the ground. Dumbledore had several different kinds of objects before him, and Cassidy wondered if they would be doing this all at once, or one at a time.
First off, however, was fencing, which Cassidy had little trouble with. She found the blocks and parries to be similar to those she had studied when taking Kendo at the Academy in Japan. She dashed effortlessly at her opponent, a rather suprised Slytherin, who took no remorse in trying to cheat. She scowled at him, her black robe swirleng about her gracefully as she charged at him in practice rhythm.
When they had completed their fencing tasks, Cassidy took a seat on the grass with some fellow Gryffindors, while the Slytherin she had practiced with continued to glare at her sourly. She smiled back at him, trying to show him his attitude had no effect on her.
Cassidy looked over at her fellow Gryffindors, hoping to find a friendly face before they began work on defending themselves against the strange objects before them.
