Misadventures at Hogwarts: Term 2

I laughed at Karli's comment and said, "I'll try my best." I then ran out the castle and awaited the monsters, wand in hand.
 
OOC: Raichu master, the monsters kind of fled, and Snape is lurking around in the Forest....O_o
 
I replied: "It's okay, really."
Just then, her brother came by and winked at me.... I just stared.
When he had gone, Cassidy stated what she thought of her brother.. Pretty much.
"I can see why." I said, shaking my head.
Then "I...need a minute..." came from her, and I nodded.
 
I flew after Johann.
"Leave them alone! They didnt hurt us!" I said at once, grabbing his robes with my claws, and pulling him towards the castle.
 
OOC: Oh, having Andy as a character is going to be so much fun!!!! I never get to be terrible in real life!!! Bwahahhaha!!! *ahem* Anyway...

IC: Andrew grabbed his books from his room in Slytherin, and headed down the hallway past the Great Hall. He spied a few of Cassidy's friends, and watched them carefully for a while.

"Hey," came a voice from behind him. It was a Slythering boy, the one from breakfast with the greasy black hair and the dark, beady eyes. He was built considerably...large...and leered at Andrew suspiciously. "You really need to straighten yourself out. Stop associating yourself with those losers."

"My sister is in Gryffindor," he told the boy indignantly, standing up straight.

"You're sister? Ha...I knew you were no good," he snapped. "Listen, if you want to live in Slytherin, you have to play by our rules. Call me Randy."

Andrew looked at him, suprise and suspicion covered his face as he crossed his arms over his chest. Randy smirked.

"Play Quiddich much?" he asked, eyeing Andrew's muscular form. "I bet you'd make a fiar beater."

"If the team was looking for members...." Andrew said, grinning.

"Oh they are," Randy told him. "You should go ask about it..."

Andrew smiled arrogantly once more. He nodded at Randy and followed him to the Slytherin common room once more to meet the team captain.

OOC: Anyone wanna fill me in on the Quiddich teams in this rp?
 
OOC: Yeah, like who is on the house teams..what position...etc

Cassidy had detention with Snape, and she had to go into the Forbidden Forest with him in search of something. They found a nest of unhatched chimaera, and the adult attacked them. With each other's help, they slayed the bloodthirsty beast, but Cassidy passed out from fatigue before she knew whether or not the eggs had been destroyed. She woke up about an hour later in the hospital wing, and no one knew of her trip to the Forest with Snape except for her, Snape, Dumbledore, and Hagrid (who had come to carry Cassidy back to Hogwarts.)

We encountered a cave troll in the dungeon soon after, much against the rules the teachers had set. Everywone was warned to return to their dorms, but we snuck down, and found Karli's Aunt's butler with a cave troll. He was a Death Eater, and much more powerful than us, but Cassidy slew the cave troll, and the group held off the butler for a while. Eventually we got help from Dumbledore I think, and of course, got into trouble. During this time, we discovered that Karli was an Animagus, and she changes into a falcon from time to time.

Just recently, Cassidy, Karli, and Terra escaped a close call in the Forbidden Forest with the chimaera hatchlings, and all got detention from Snape, who was lurking mysteriously in the Forest.

Also, Cassidy's twin and rival, Andrew has come to Hogwarts. He's a little mean, and lives in Slytherin, so beware!

I'm sure the others can fill in the other details a little better than I!
 
OOC: That's a bit too many pages... Where are we?
 
While all her friends were out, Berii stayed inside the Gryffindor dorm. She was all covered up in her bed, she was upset. Never had she been that upset, she was always the cheerful one, there was definately something wrong with her.

She sighed as jumped out her bed. "'Naa, what's wrong with me?" she asked. Berii was answered with a soft, kinda worried hoot. She looked at her worried owl's face and smiled faintly.

"Maybe I'm just tired, no need for worrying." she said in fake cheerful voice. As she finished her sentence, she patted Anna and went to the bathroom.

"Yeah, I'm just tired. I just need to relax..." she thought as finished up.

OOC: Thanks, Skye!
 
OOC: Oops. Dang I need to get with it, I mean I'm falling behind. haha

IC: "Oops, sorry, Karli." I said cheerfully. "You might want to turn back to human, I mean you don't want people thinking your a freak do you?" I asked very seriously. "But if you don't care, then I have no reason to worry!" I said smiling.
 
"I wouldnt be a "freak" just because Im a Animagus, Johann. But fine, I will, once we get back to the castle. You know the rule, no students out after dark"
I flew ahead into the school and transformed. I waited in the corridor for Johann, and maybe Terra or Cassidy.
 
Cassidy, frustrated at her inability to control her emotions, dried her tears bitterly. It was now dark in the room, and she went into the bathroom to wash the tears off her face. She towled her face gently, and went to her trunk, where all her books were stored during the weekend.

She pulled out her Potions textbook, and went down to the common room to study. She hoped her friends might be there, as her mind was really not in the right place to study...

Meanwhile, in the Slytherin common room, Andrew was chatting it up with Nathan, the Quiddich captain. He seemed pretty convinced of Andrew's ability, and put him on the team as a beater. Andrew smirked, and went up to his room to go to sleep for the night. Before he did, he sent his owl out with a message for Cassidy.

Cassidy had just settled down in her favorite chair near the fireplace, when Andrew's barn owl flew through the window to land next to her.

"What's up?" she asked him tiredly. He handed her a scroll of paper. "Thanks."

The owl flew off, leaving Cassidy to open her scroll:

Looks like I'm already miles ahead of you, Cassidy. I made beater for the Slytherin Quiddich team!

Cassidy scowled, and threw the piece of parchment into the fire in disgust. Secretly, she wished she could get on the Gryffindor team so she could kick his butt... Rolling her eyes, she picked up her Potions book, and started to read.
 
I made my way up to the common room. I saw Cassidy, and went to sit down beside her.
"Whats the matter?" I asked her, noticing her tear stained cheeks.
 
After minutes in the library, just studying and doing stuff, I finally went up to the Common Room, so that I could read without..... Kissing. (Two 3rd years that were abviously boyfriend and girlfriend were kissing quite slopply behind a shelf)
Once I got in, I saw Cassidy, throwing a piece of parchment iunto the Common Room fire... The starting to read a book as well. Walking up to her, and clutching my own books, I said "Hi Cassidy! What, um, was that, um parchment-in-the-fire about? And... Is something wrong?"
 
"Oh...my brother," she said softly to Terra and Karli. "He's made the Slytherin Quiddich Team..."

She put down her book, and sighed heavily. She rubbed her swollen eyes and rested her chin on her hand, her eelbow on the arm of the chair.

"What have you guys been up to?" she asked, trying to change the subject. "I was just studying for Potions if you want to join me..."
 
"Well, you know, its never to late to join the Quidditch team. I hear they have a new spot open", I said kindly to Cassidy. "Anyways, I would be glad to join you for studying"
I pulled out my Potions text from my book bag, and started to read.
 
My eyes went wide. "He. Made. The. Quidditch team?!" I said in shock.
Then, hearing Cassidy asking us if we wanted to study with her, I said "Sure, but I'm studying for Charms and Transfigeration as well." And with that remark, I sat down next to her, and placed my books on the table.
 
After a while, I closed my books and said, "Im going to bed. Night guys"
I walked up to the dormitory. It was pretty late, and some girls were already fast asleep. I changed into my pajamas, and got into bed. Johann drifted into my mind.
I was thinking about how idiotic he had been, and now how nice he is being. I wondered what had gotten into him.
