[Legends: Arceus] missing satchels feature

I like it, but I wish I knew how to trigger new satchels to show up. These past two days, I got about 5-6 to spawn between 3 and 5 PM my time, but today I played pretty actively during that time frame again, but I got nothing at all. (Online communicated was turned on the whole time)

which satchels have you found so far?
I think some might have been from NPCs but I don't remember the names. I also tend to get a lot from Japanese players (so the names are in Japanese characters). When it's 4-5 PM for me, it's around Midnight in Japan so I assume a lot of night owls are playing then. :p

I like it! My friends list is pretty big and I always have online mode enabled, so there are usually always satchels around for me to find. I just wish evolution stones weren't 1k because I'm still only on around 700 points from collecting these. Seems like it will take a while if I want to get several stones. :(

I like the lost satchels feature, it is helpful. I've been helping out with collecting the NPC lost satchels and when I remember to, I try to turn on the internet so I can help others. I think I've racked up over 2000+ merit points from lost satchels. It feels nice being able to help out so I try look for any lost satchels in whatever area i'm in.
I've whited out only once after falling from a super great height. Luckily someone was kind enough and found my satchel within an hour so I didn't lose anything. It's a nice system. :D
I'm not too sure how it finds other people's satchels online. I have never seen any of my Switch friend's lost satchels appear on the list and don't recognise the names I'm given but I like to think it helps a stranger across the world.
