Hey all, I've been on the pokemon scene for a long time now, mainly lurking these sites trying to form my own team, and finally i think I've come up with one. It has been pretty successful thus far, but I want some expert advice, thanks in advance!!

    Lead: Ohai!
    Metagross@Suca Berry(focus sash?)
    Clear Body
    Adamant @ 112 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Def / 132 Spe
    -Stealth Rock
    -Meteor Mash
    -Earthquake
    -Explosion(?)

Not your typical MetaLead, but he does the job. Sets up SR, and ev'd speed to EQ other leadgross' (i face alot of those >.<), MM for the basic STAB (extremely powerful esp against leads such as shuckle) and Explosion for the suicide/revenge kill if needed (i.e vs azelf leads or weak mence's). Other than that hes just a physical beast, can take a beating and can dish a beating aswell.

    (no particular order from here)

    IhazCRAYON
    Latias@Life Orb
    Levitate
    Modest 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    -Recover
    -Thunderbolt (calm mind?)
    -Surf
    -Draco Meteor

I love this thing, shes your semi typical Calm Mind sweeper. I switch her in for the surprise attack, esp against bulky water types, or bulky offensives i.e salamence/gyra/glisc, already has high SpD, and out speeds everything. I chose Draco Meteor over Dpulse because a. it hits so much harder, and b. it can OKO alot of things on the switch in, seeing as its unexpected. A 2 CM Draco Meteor can OKO anything, surf/recover there to keep her healthy and for added coverage. I have been playing around with Tbolt, it hits really hard but thinking about going with the CM set. Thoughts?

    FACEROLL
    Scizor@Choice Band(?)
    Technician
    Adamant 32 HP / 252 Atk / 224 Spe
    -U-Turn
    -Superpower
    -Swords Dance(?)
    -Bullet Punch

This thing is amazing, he is primarily been my revenge killer/set up sweeper, and just plain old b*tch. I switch him in on either the revenge, or against one of his many resistances and attempt to set up SD, if not I use him to U-turn to attempt to scout, or BP/U-turn to get some added dmg in, I try not to leave him out because he is frail, but with 1 SD I can OKO most if not everything (not against 4x resists of course).

    METALBALLS
    Magnezone@Choice Scarf
    Magnet Pull
    Naive 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    -Thunderbolt
    -Explosion
    -Flash Cannon
    -Hidden Power[Fire]

This guy is Salamence's best friend. He is here to kill any pesky ice/steel types that get in my way. This guy really is a beast, he has saved me many times. I spread his moveset out a bit, to include both STAB's, a GREAT counter (HP[Fire]) and explosion for a last ditch effort to do some dmg. Nothing really to say here, i switch him in after mence if an ice/water poses a threat, this is just sala's bodyguard, here to protect and server him.

    zzzzzzzzzzzz
    Suicune@Leftovers
    Pressure
    Timid(bold?) 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
    -Surf
    -Ice Beam(?? Sleep talk??)
    -Rest
    -Calm Mind

Semi typical "crocune." I've done some testing with sleep talk, and didnt like it too much...This guy is an AMAZING "wall" so to speak, def. not one of the best walls, but he can take hits and dish them, quickly. I like rest/sleep talk, but if it comes down to it usually he gets killed. I've done some ice beam testing, throwing him into the fight with celebi's and shaymin's, even salamence's if latias is dead. This guy is just my "wtfwall", or attempts to be. He is switched in to soak up fire hits, and kill what he can.

    DDsweeper
    Salamence@Life Orb(?)
    Intimidate
    Adamant 232 Atk / 24 SpA / 252 Spe
    -Outrage
    -Dragon Dance
    -Earthquake
-Fire Blast(?? ada lowers spa another nature/attack??)

My pride and joy here, I wanted a team based around this guy. I love throwing this guy into the fray, DD once, and sweeping their entire teem with Outrage. This of course, done after scouting/counters have been taken care of best as possible. I try to hide this fella the best i can, I usually only send him in early against say lucario, seeing as metagross is usally dead, and magnezone gets OKO by lucar, so I try to knock off that bastard using my mence.

Threats: Mainly any bluky fire types, I've had problems with a choiced ada arcanine a few games in a row, and some lucario's can shut me down. Also Porygon-z is a painnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, I can only kill him via revenge with scizor or a lucky predict switch in.

My team is set up basically just all out offense, and alot of switching. I find myself hurting to SR sometimes, esp mence. Not much else to say, I've had more success than not with this team, I'm open to any suggestions you guys may or may not have. I also read the rules and tried to keep this as close to them as possible, if I did not, then I appologise. Please point it out so I can take appropriate actions to fix it.

Go Naughty on Mence if you want Fire Blast. Bold on Suicune, and your not going to be running Swords Dance on Scizor with Choic Band...

Bullet Punch is handy for picking off things after you smash them with Meteor Mash.

You always want Timid as then you can tie with things like Gengar which is a must. Just turn it into a CMset in my opinion.

    FACEROLL
    Scizor@Choice Band(?)
    Technician
    Adamant 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
    -U-Turn
    -Superpower
    -Pursuit
    -Bullet Punch

This thing is amazing, he is primarily been my revenge killer/set up sweeper, and just plain old b*tch. SD is a nono since you'll be locked into it, Pursuit lets you smash running Latias/Gengar etc. Also run the CB variants EV's, 8 SpD lets you U-Turn after other CBScizor meaningthat they'll hit you for ass damage and you'll hit their switch-in for good damage usually. Plus if two CBScizor face off, you'll be slower and he'll do ~70% you while you smack him for a clean OHKO.

    METALBALLS

    Ok.

Just go with straight CroCune or switch your set. Resting without STalk is basically a set-up oppurtunity.

Ok, first off Adamant makes your SpAtk suck so run Naughty. Also, you could invest those SpAtk EV's into Attack and switch to Adamant and run fire Fang which outdamages Fire Blast after a DD.

    Comments in bold.

I'll come back later for a better rate.

thanks for the rates guys, any other opinions? I'm taking the above actions for sure.

Pursuit>>SD on Scizor. Setup on a choice set locks you in, wasting the boost and giving free switch ins to the opposition.

You have to go with sleep talk on crocune. using rest without sleep talk leaves you very vulnerable. Ice Beam doesn't really help with the set anyway. You are still walled by just bout the same things.

Uh, Pokedra, I think you meant 8 Speed on Scizor, not Special Defence, lol. I know it's a typo.

Also, rsxtypes, it's more of a suggestion than a team rate, but with Suicune and Salamence, don't give hints about the set in the Nickname. It's a huge disadvantage. Default names are often better, as the less you give away, the better chance you have.

    Haha yeah...i changed that quick

No, he meant Special Defense. That's why he's explaining the advantages of going last lol.

Due to lack of revenge killer apart from Scizor you could consider changing Lati into a Scarf set. Which is pretty awesome given its excellent move pool.

edit: I made the above changes suggested by Pokedra, i was trying to post the following message but i messed it up and accidently deleted it.

Okay, SR seems to be giving my salamence the blues.......
i was thinking, would this fit into my team, taking metagross's place...
    Azelf
    Naive@Focus Sash 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Levitate
    -Stealth Rock
    -Psychic
    -Explosion
    -Taunt

I was thinking of this, because I played against this little guy and he annoyed the hell outa me. Would this fit on my team?
    Thoughts?

Use this spread on your Meta lead. --->204 HP / 80 Atk / 224 Def
You are only 3HKOed by other lead Meta EQs while you 2HKO them back (this is coming from experience, I might be wrong)
I think you should keep meta. It is nice physical bulk late game, as well as a TTar counter early game (TTar without EQ) thanks to the evs.
I used this meta for a while and it probably remains one of my favourite leads. Bullet Punch>>Explosion. You don't want to blow up meta as it is nice bulk late game. Suicide leads really hate you if they taunt you first turn.
Scenario: They use Taunt. You use Meteor Mash.
You use Bullet Punch. They don't get rocks up.
    MM+BP KOs suicide leads obviously.
I use Leftovers>>Focus Sash. With the extra bulk of your ev spread you don't need sash.
