    Before we start

Please note that I had just gotten interested in Shoddy/Strategies/etc, and that this is my first team that I'm serious about! (My first thread was a team, but trust me, you'll cry if you read it).

Now onto the overall description of this team. The moves are mixed, and I rely on Jira, Kabu, and Gyra to bring the house down if things get ugly. My team lacks coverage, and a few pokemon can sweep all 6 to hell, such as Swellow. (Has happened before). Not sure what to make of this team, I chose a few pokemon that had large movepools and differently typed moves. Haven't defeated much yet, which is a sign that I should recreate the whole team. First, lets here what you all think.

Also, I'm probably wrong about everything.
    Detailed

[PokeCommunity.com] (Mixed OU) RMT - First one ever

    Impish Nature @ Leftovers
    252 HP 80 Def 176 Spe
    Sand Veil
    -Aerial Ace
    -Earthquake
    -Stealth Rock
    -Roost

Gliscor is a reliable companion. He is pretty simple, yet quite effective. After setting up SR, goes in with EQ for some awesome STAB, and with Aerial Ace, he laughs at grass/bug types. In a bind with water/ice type, always has Roost handy.

[PokeCommunity.com] (Mixed OU) RMT - First one ever

    Adamant Nature @ Life Orb
    4 HP 252 Atk 252 Spd
    Intimidate
-Ice Fang / Return / Earthquake
    -Waterfall
    -Stone Edge
    -Drangon Dance

Gyrados is one hell of an attack sweeper. Ice Fang laughs at Salac, T-Tar, etc. and Waterfall's STAB power laughs at the type pokemon that have it's weakness. Stone Edge is very handy when Manetric is done and the foe has a few more bugs in their team. D-Dance helps Stone Edge greatly. To put it in a few words; Beastly.

[PokeCommunity.com] (Mixed OU) RMT - First one ever

    Impish Nature @ Leftovers
    240 HP 160 Def 32 Spe 76 SpD
    Serene Grace
    -Wish
    -U-turn
    -Thunder Wave
    -Ice Punch

Jira is one of my favorite OUs, especially this moveset. Using Wish at the start of the battle gives me a secure feeling. Then, I have room for either U turn if it's a crappy match up or T-Wave to set the foe up. After fighting Tons of T-Tar, it turns out Jira's IPunch is VERY useful. If Gyra is slower and can't get in an Ice Fang, Jira is ready to battle.

[PokeCommunity.com] (Mixed OU) RMT - First one ever

    Timid Nature @ Life Orb
    80 HP 252 SpA 176 Spe
    Natural Cure
    -Calm Mind
    -Grass Knot
    -HP Fire/Water
    -Recover

After using Celeb once in battle (lol @ owning cest's regi w/ grass knot) I know he is an awesome pokemon. Haven't decided if I should HP Fire/water or Superpower.

[PokeCommunity.com] (Mixed OU) RMT - First one ever

    Adamant Nature @ Mystic Water
    80 HP 252 Atk 176 Spe
    Swift Swim
    -Brick Break
    -Stone Edge
    -Swords Dance
    -Waterfall

I could kiss this guy. I can't even count how many times he's sweeped the people I fight. (Though I've only had 9 wins, 80,000,000 Losses). SD Stone Edge/Waterfall is awesome, and brick break can take down rocks like Golem. One awesome Pocket Monster.

[PokeCommunity.com] (Mixed OU) RMT - First one ever

    Timid Nature @Choice Scarf
    252 Spe / 252 SpA / 6 HP
    Static
    -Thunderbolt
    -Overheat / Flamethrower
    -Hidden Power Ice
    -Signal Beam

I love this guy as well. This special attacker is one hell of a powerhouse. Flamethrower knocks down Scizor easily, w/ Spe EV. Thunderbolt owns Gyra and such, and Crunch takes care of unwanted ghost types. HP Grass is a side if Ground types try to EQ.

    In Closing

This is probably going to be the worst team you've ever seen, and it's my first. Anyways, please. THROW BOULDERS OF C&C AT ME. I swear, I need the help. I understand half of my team is NU, but I had no idea about tiers! Give me a break!
    just sayin'.

    Thanks for reading!

Actually NU isn't a complete tier yet, so your team is essentially OU-UU.

Although I have no idea where you are getting that Gyara's Ice Fang "laughs at Ttar"... it's weaker than Waterfall and doesn't get STAB or super effective damage. Ice Fang is kind of lol on Gyara because SE does more damage to fliers (and most OU Dragons are fliers anyway), and the few grass types there are just act as setup fodder [with the exception of Shaymin-S, who is scared of SE]. The most used Ground types are easily Rhyperior and Mamoswine, who are both weak to Waterfall. That really leaves no purpose for Ice Fang Gyara in OU. Of course it's up to you but I'd use Return (for doing plain assloads of damage) or Earthquake (for Rock types, Steel types, Electric types, Poison types).

I DO think that you may want to switch Banette for something else, possibly a Celebi if you're doing OUs and UUs, because Celebi works well on a good chunk of the OU tier, plus with Recover, he could be a good option as either a last one in, or a sweeper. That's just my opinion though.

From what I've seen, Ice Fang does laugh at T-Tar.

Ice Fang seems useful, but I might consider Return and EQ.

    Any other suggestions?
how in the world does Ice Fang "laugh at T-Tar?"

And Gyara usually wants DD/Waterfall/Stone Edge/Earthquake. Waterfall for STAB (and possible flinch), Stone Edge to clear out Salamence, Zapdos, and more importantly other Gyarados.

Okay, I just OHKO'd TTar 5 times with Ice Fang yesterday. That's why I put that.

Probably going to change Banette to Celeb and Gyra's Ice Fang to EQ then.

    Thanks for comments.

By the way, read the bold type at the top please. XPP

Well, it did. But no point in arguing. Could you please move on and actually RMT?

Umm because you got a crit and it wasnt 5 times in a row, i saw that match lol

Gyarados weak, put a scarf on that manectric and so you can revenge kill stuff.

    Manctric@Choice Scarf
    252 SPEED / 252 SP.ATT / 6 HP
    Timid Nature
    Static
    ~ Thunderbolt
    ~ Overheat / Flamethrower
    ~ Hidden Power Ice
    ~ Signal Beam

This ^, hp ice >>> Grass or you lose to mence.

Aqua Jet >> Brick Break on kabutops, although Kabutops isnt really that good outside of the rain in all honesty.

Bannette =/ is...outclassed by everything and doesnt add much to this team. Replace it with something more useful.

After fighting Tons of T-Tar, it turns out Jira's IPunch is VERY useful.

Ice is NOT super effective against rock. Put in iron head so you can flinch hax the hell out of stuff with t-wave and Iron head thanks to serene grace.

Gliscor- I understand Gliscor, but without a Focus Sash, lead Aerodactyls will come in and, if they sport Ice Fang, tear your Glisc out before you get a chance to even SR.

Gyrados- I'm starting to see more of these than ever, and there are quite a few things to take it out, namely speedy thing like Heatran with a scarf. I believe you when you say that you OHKO'd 5 T-Tar's a couple days ago with Ice Fang, but I thing you may want to change that to EQ if anything.

Jirachi- This thing is evil, escpecially with Wish. You've used it on me, and it wasn't too hard to take out, so you may want to switch one of the moves on there. I don't specialize in Jirachi, so I don't know much about it.

Banette- I've never seen this guy used before, so I don't really know what he can do, but based on his speed, he might not be the best "back-up" you could use. Sure, he may get a WoW on a pokemon, but he should be easily OHKO'd or 2HKO'd.

Kabutops- Looks all right, but what happens when they switch in a Grass pokemon? It goes all downhill. An X-Scissor option on him would make him a nasty threat to anyone.

Manectric- You swept my two favorite pokemon with him, and I have to say that he is a force to be reckoned with. He seems to have excellent coverage, and that HP Grass will help when you're sweeping with him.

Side Note: With Banette, you have 3 pokemon in your team 200% weak to Ground. With Celebi, you still have 3 pokemon 200% weak to Ground, but now you also have 2 pokemon 200% weak to Fire. If you look at it, it's a good sacrifice to have, since Celebi's proven to be better than Banette.

So Should I replace Ice Punch <<< Iron Head on Jira, Scarf @ Manetric, HP Ice on Manetric, and Kabu w/ Aqua Jet.

    Any suggestions for Banette?

EDIT: Just read your post IcePyro, And I agree on everything you say.
ANyone want to help me with the moveset for Celeb?

Here's my weirded out version of Celebi, and hey, it works pretty well.

    Celebi@ Leftovers
    Careful Nature
    Natural Cure
    6 HP/ 252 Sp.Def/ 252 Spd
    ~U-Turn
    ~Psychic
    ~Leech Seed
    ~Recover

No matter how weird this looks, it works. It's what I use, and if a match isn't too easy for me and I take out all the opponent's pokemon with my first two, then this guy takes out at least 2 pokes a game.

U-Turn- This gives him the ability to stop sweepers like Starmie and Azelf, and then switch to someone who can wall the hit, and then it goes on from there. Fast psychics are a threat in the metagame, and since you're combining OU with UU, you're going to be seeing them. Alot.

Psychic- This is Celebi's STAB move if it must rely on it. It has taken out many pokemon when Celebi was switched in, and this now eliminates some Fighting and enemy Poison types like Gengar, and it can even take out some fast sweepers.

Recover- This helps for when HP is low, and it puts Celebi right back in the game. Let Celebi Leech Seed first, and then if it is a pokemon that is just too hard to take out, Recover up while the opponent Hp's down from Leech Seed.

Leech Seed- Easy. Wait until you think a switch is coming, and then seed the incoming pokemon. If you get lucky and it is a pokemon you can easily take out, good for you, but it helps alot if it is a hard to defaet pokemon. This either forces another switch, or sapps the opponents HP.

eww careful nature and you have psychic too.
    Calm>>>>>>>>>>>Careful.

Earthquake over Ice Fang, seriously. Use Waterfall on Tar.
Iron Head over Ice Punch for STAB, flinch and Tar counter.
You should replace Manetric with another Revenger, like Gengar. Also maybe swap out Kabutops for something, it isn't really special out of rain. Try Scizor perhaps?

I've versed this team. Banette and Kabutops are dead weight :(

Banette just sucks in general and Kabutops is slower then crap and has a horrible SpD. Outside of rain teams he sucks.

Scarf Manetric so you can revenge-kill Gyarados and Mence

    Manetric@ Choice Scarf
    Nature : Timid(-Atk, +Spe)
    EV : 4 HP | 252 Special Attack | 252 Speed
    -Thunderbolt
    -Flamethrower
    -HP Ice
    -Signal Beam/<Filler Move>

Ok, with a lot of people's help, added Celebi instead of Bannette and also made Manetric scarf.

I'm thinking about Areodactyl >> Gliscor lead and T-Tar/Vaporeon >> Kabutops.
I might just keep Glis, though.

in celebi change HP Fire/Water to baton pass
    and grass knot to psychic

in celebi change HP Fire/Water to baton pass
    and grass knot to psychic
    That would be useful if:
    ○ Psychic didn't plain suck compared to Grass Knot
    ○ Grass Knot didn't have >>> coverage compared to Psychic
    ○ Tyranitar and Rhyperior weren't in OU

    and for your first point:
    ○ If the only real Pursuiters were more than Tyranitar (who Celebi outspeeds and can definitely OHKO after a single CM) and Weavile (who outspeeds Celebi anyway)
    ○ There was anything to receive the pass.
