So it isn't possible to like, hang out with, like, both1?1??!?
Of course, but for hte most part, that's how it ends up.

*uses suction cups to attach herself to both* See? It works!

Yea, I agree with ya Greg, I find myself more attached to the other very often =/

guys, get back on topic please.

I personally think that the editing sigs ability is a great idea as it gives a greater aspect of modding besides 'close this thread, move this thread, oh, this person spammed on accident, guess I should warn him' cause that's dull (not to mention never happens in my area) so this gives me something to do in my spare time.

...that's what a mod is for.

To moderate his or her forum, not the users.

actually, users get modded to, such as us editing/deleting thier posts. sigs really arn't that big a deal, just difficult to keep up with with so many members around.

There's a difference between moderating posts and moderating user profiles.

User profiles are for Admins IMO, but SMods are okay. There shouldn't be any reason for mods to have any power in a user's profile.

And I love how Steve knew nothing about this. XDDD

o_O He didn't? I thought he approved it o_O

well, it helps little that there are a max of 4 active members that would be able to do such things if only S-mods and above could edit sigs. and they can't catch everything. take the RP forums for example. Pigs will fly before I see a person of such power in there. Therefore, if there are members that do not post anywhere else, they never get checked short of somebody that lives in the thread.

Yes and it's funny that Abby and I are Admins. It's funny how we Mod members without telling the Root Admins. It's funny how we do things around PC without telling them. JK there is a larger reason to why the Praetor and Abby usergroup was started.

There is a sticky in the lounge - Signature Reports - for a reason. >_<

And it was working fine beforehand, what's the problem now?

EDIT:

I think Andy is mad at me~

You two may have all the admin powers, but you aren't considered full admins. If you were, you'd have a nice blue colored name. What Steve chooses still overrides your decisions, especially when it deals with giving this group power.

Because it took too long for anything to happen. Now it's instant. >.>

It didn't take a long time - it took a few hours to a day... unless the PMed user is a rare visitor. <_<

1. now said sticky is to report edited sigs

2. Admins arn't around anyway, so SOMEBODY needs to deal with things. So who better than those who were trusted by Kairi and arcanine with the Mod position?

Said sticky can easily be changed back then. :O

And the Root Admins are occasionally around. It's not that hard to get ahold of Steve... or to simply ask "Is it okay if we do this, because we think it'd better PC?"

Well, if Root Admins disagree with something, they can easily change it and warn them for next time in the future, no big harm there

occasionally being the key word. Abby and Arcanine are around all the time, they have a better idea of how mods will respond to power.

The nice blue italic user names are for members that has their site join PC. If you looked at my and Abby's Admin powers and looked at Zap's and V-Road's then you will find them the same. Steve and Kwesi on the other hand are the Sever Admins. They override everyone, but they left it up to me and Abby to so stuff because they are not on. That is why they gave us Admin powers over PC.

This is a big change however, and it's something that should be discussed with server admins.

You are giving 30+ people access to user sigs, that's a lot of power being given out.

I'm sorry, but I'm under the impression that you were given the power so that you could make sure PC ran smoothly by making the small changes that would normally have to be run by the admins, not big changes like this.

And now I'll pose a new question: What's next? Will mods be given the power over avatars, over profile fields - where's teh line between smod and mod now, apart from power over # of forums?
