And if we keep the mod power out of it, I think Kwesi will approve... now we just wait for completely "Official" stance...
 
Might as well keep the mod power out...like kwesi said dont want another Bush. So what just bold letters and bragging rights? That sounds good.

I'd more than approve it, (provided the other admins agree) I'd workout a new interface for it.

I got bored in class and drew a rough draft.

I may take bragging rights to far, in the rough draft I have an auto hide pullout menu with the "PC President"'s piccy, and alil info, possibly links (still a rough draft). who ever would win this would have all the bragging rights he needs, dude's name would be plasterd on the theme itself.

Is the ability to view the mod lounge still in the job description or is it just the coloured username? =\
 
All mod powers have been killed...


So now, who gets to choose who is running now? And who is eligable to run?
 
I think it's just the colored name. Kwesi...that picture gave me a headache. Just make it so senior members can run?
 
No idea, but currently it's anything but mod related powers.

I still like the ability to force-a-mod to edit one signature (and the member cannot change it) =3
 
Hmmm whats this? winner? mod lounge? Meh i dont care about the mod lounge...as long as i get to help out thats fine....
 
The President, who would be voted on by the members of PC (It hasn't been decided who will be able to run) will recieve a new name color (Maybe their choice?) the title "PC President" similar to the Moderator for mods and complete and utter bragging rights. =P
 
Bragging rights? I think we all forgot the purpose of everything right now -_- is this elections to become a mod or something? XD I am lost....because if is, it shouldnt happen.... people should prove that they are ready to be one....XD

Mrawr, oh well. If there's no power involved, I don't think the staff members need to do the nominations. Anyone should be able to. =\ But then that raises the further question of how to do it efficiently.

I know. I don't get the point of this. We vote to let someone have colour in their name? Umm...why? :paranoid:
 
Why not just have the members send in nominations to the mods,s-mods,admins and then they pick the top ten members from there and then we just vote?
 
The original idea was to honor the US presidential elections.

Even having just staff members nominate would be a pain... 30+ candiates? x_x;; A couple primaries would be needed to get it down...
 
President? o-0 i think thats pretty stupid....no offense to anyone....but i think PC's fine the way it is...

I'd rather do your math homework. <_< This just hurts my brain.

Anyway, the chances are very likely (if the staff nominate) that not everyone will pick a different person. Some people will probably be chosen twice, etc. (Not for extra points, mind you.)
 
Lol i dont like math. XD back to the subject...I say we dont meddle around with mod powers and such....
