I say none. XD there are a lot of members....
 
Mmm... all 3 of the choices have their own points. With self, you get to run only if you want, Staff there is less people... but members... bleh.


What about we make a topic in announcements and the first, 30 or so nominated get on the primary ballot?

There's a problem with all 3...

Member Nomination- how's that different than the already screwed up MOTM we're having?

Self Nomination- will most likely result in 40 candidates? or member with 5 post coming in to nominate him/herself, and then asking "so do I get to be a mod if I win?"

Staff Nomination- suffers partly from the member nomination problem as well... also there will be a lack of candidates in the end, because some of us are so smart that some of us will rather go make lunch even though he cannot cook and face the possibility to die out of food poisoning/eating non-edible products, than to face this mess


*backs Lightning up and plans to do Kwesi's math at the cost of Kwesi handling this*
 
Mmm, there would have to be some rules set down on who could run... like you have to be a member for over a month to be considered a candiate...

._. Yeah, I'd rather try making microwave Kraft Dinner and do Kwesi's math than work this out, too.

Well, we could try it this way:

First, we accept self nominations. Whoever wants to run for PCP (let's acronym it <_<) can choose to do so. For the first round of voting, we can let people vote for multiple people (the exact number would be decided after we have the number of candidates). So let's set that at 3 votes/person for now. Hypothetically considering everyone will vote for the most popular people, that will decrease the number of potential candidates and then maybe decrease it to two votes per person and then eventually we'll end up with a handful of people to choose from and make the final vote. =\

...or something like that? @_@

I had just finished typing out a long post like frosty's saying why it wouldn't work when that popped into my head, so I'm glad it sounds okay since otherwise, it was a waste of time to type. XD;

We may have to make a thread and just have people reply with their choices. And maybe restrict it to one "ballot" per IP address to reduce the chances of cheating. (With apologies to family members who share computers as only one person would get to vote.)

I think Lightnings plan is ok ......but the question is as jkaizer said will he be willing to be incharge of it?
 
Okay or i wont know. XD *yells in megaphone* what are voting for! XD
 
We're voting for the "Pokemon Community President." It will basically be a person who will have a coloured username instead of the normal member text formatting. (Sort of like how I have a bold, orange name - they would have a colour too.) I'm unclear on whether or not they would have Mod Lounge access.

If you'd read the topic, you would have to ask so many times. -_-

I'd say not give them mod lounge. That would raise to many questions with it wouldent it?
