• Defeated the trainers and did some extra grinding in Victory Road.
• I finally challenged the Pokémon League when all of my Pokémon were around level 50.
• Lorelei was defeated quite easily with Nitro's Thunderbolt and Simba's Shadow Ball.
• Bruno was a bit thougher because ZYNX and Mushu were weak against Rock Tomb and were easily defeated. I only had Hitmonlee left to defeat and I lucked out when he used Mega Kick and Goomba's Effect Spore put him to sleep.
• Agatha was easier again, Simba's Shadow Ball and Bite made short work of her Gengars and Haunter. ZYNX' Ice Punch easily took care of the rest.
• Lance wasn't too difficult either. Mr.Krabs' Ice Beam and ZYNX' Ice Punch were almost always OHKO's.
• Gary was though but I managed to beat him eventually thus succesfully completing the challenge.

Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Pink).

Final Update (#2) on LeafGreen.

• Scaled Pokemon Tower, beating Blue and and saving Mr. Fuji.
• Got the Pokemon Flute and killed Snorlax on Route 12, then grabbed the Super Rod.
• Up on Route 25, I fished up Pokey the Slowpoke.
• Started training him on the trainers on Cycling Road and the bridge routes. When I got to Fushia City, I got Surf and Strength.
• Eventually, Pokey evolved into Slowbro!
• Then I defeated all the Rockets in Sliph Co. and beat Giovanni easily with Pokey's Surf.
• Defeated Sabrina after that with Fable, then Koga was beated next by Pokey.
• After Surfing to Cinnabar Island and defeating all the trainers on the water, LaffyTaffy soloed Blaine with Rollout.
• Continued my Gym rampage by easily defeating Giovanni with Fable's Ice Beam.
• Blue was defeated on the way to Victory Road, and then I reached the Pokemon League.
• Got everyone to L59, then took on the Elite Four.
• Mimeon soloed Lorelei with Thunderbolt.
• Pokey soloed Bruno with Surf and Psychic.
• Agatha was taken care of with Fable (Thunder) and LaffyTaffy (Rollout and Body Slam).
• Fable then soloed Lance with Thunder and Ice Beam.

♦ I started with Turtwig and then caught a Psyduck, just to help me with the first part of the game. When I reached Floaroma, I caught a Combee that I named Ponzu.
♦ After the Galactic business in Floaroma, I backtracked to catch a Ponyta on Route 207. I named it Illumi.
♦ Illumi and Ponzu went through a big part of the game. After Maylene was defeated, I caught Sadaso the Girafarig.
♦ I trained Sadaso up a bit, beat som Gym Leaders, and then went to the Distortion World.
♦ With the Distortion world over with, I could go to Route 222 and Sunyshore City. On Route 222, I caught the final team member of my team, Riehlvelt the Electabuzz.
♦ I beat Volkner and got through Victory Road. Then I battled the Elite Four and Champion, and won.

Ok I know it's been a long time but I have news and a dilemma. I have started my Platinum Blue Run Towards my Ultimate, and have gotten pretty far (Beat Canalave already.) My only problem is I seem to have lost my DS which I was playing it on with the game inside. As soon as I find it I will make an update and continue on.

Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Pink).

Moving on to Johto for my Pink monocoor, I chose Hard Gold to play on. It's basically the same as HeartGold but with a higher difficulty, no trade evos, and higher encounter rates for rare pokemon (like Corsola).

Update #1 on Hard Gold.

• Started off with Totodile, and after reaching Violet City, I caught Fluffy the Mareep.
• Defeated Sprout Tower, and Fluffy evolved in the gym.
• Falkner was no problem to beat with Fluffy.
• Continued on through Union Cave to Azelea Town, where I caught Cleopatra the Slowpoke.
• Beat Proton in the Well, then took on the gym. Fluffy was the MVP again.
• Kept going on through the forest and reached Goldenrod City.
• Trained up on all the trainers around the city and the park, then took on the gym.
• Whitney was difficult as usual, but Fluffy was able to pull it out thanks to Thunder Wave and Thundershock.
• Beat Sudowoodo and cleared the way to Ecruteak City, then caught Missy the Miltank on Route 38.
• Trained up both Cleopatra and Missy on the trainers on the way to Olivine and Mahogany, then beat Silver in the Burned Tower.
• Morty was still too difficult to beat, so I beat the Lighthouse as well.
• Finally Missy learned Zen Headbutt, which was essential for beating Morty.
• I knew I would need a flying Pokemon, so I decided to try for a few hours to find a shiny Zubat.
• Since they are 60% encounter in Mt. Mortar, I looked there, and after about 3-4 hours (on 2-3x speed, mind you), I found one! I couldn't believe it! It had a bad nature (Brave), but I didn't care.
• Caught it and named him Pinky, and we were off to Cianwood City.
• In the Cianwood gym, Pinky evolved into Golbat!
• Then we challenged Chuck. Missy was again great here with Zen Headbutt.
• I am saved in Cianwood City.

Alright,started my game and beat Falkner. To make the game a tiny bit tougher I decided not to choose Chikorita.
Progress so far :

Named my character Gold.
Picked Cyndaquil as a starter.
Finished the basic tutorial and caught a Sentret for a HM Slave.
Proceeded to Route 30 and beat the trainers.
Caught Bellsprout and nicknamed it Lief.
Grinded it to Level 11 before going to Sprout Tower.
Beat the Elder with a Lief at Level 15.
Got Rock Smash and Flash before heading to the gym.
Owned Falkner with Lief at Level 16, continued south.
I'll update again sometime soon, probably after Bugsy.

Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Pink).

Update #2 on Hard Gold.

• Went back to the Lighthouse to heal Amphy, then Baoba called to say the Safari Zone was open.
• Headed over there and completed the first two tasks, then caught Fable the Clefairy.
• She was holding a Moon Stone, so I evolved her right way into Clefable!
• Then I had Cleopatra hold a King's Rock, and after leveling up during the day, she evolved into Slowking!
• Defeated Eusine, then headed over to Mahogany Town and Lake of Rage.
• Infiltrated the hideout with Lance, and beat up Team Rocket nijas, including Petrel and Ariana.
• Then Pinky finally evolved into Crobat!
• Took on Pryce and won with some difficulty.
• Immediately after that, I beat Jasmine as well without many problems.
• Team Rocket was meddling in the Radio Tower, so I went to take care of that. Beat all the executives again, as well as Silver.
• Finally I was able to take on Archer, and he did take several tries to beat, but Pinky was able to survive and win in the end.
• Now that I had access to Route 44, I was able to catch my final team member, Linda the Lickitung.
• Train her up until she learned Rollout and then she evolved into Lickilicky!
• Did some more grinding before taking on the Blackthorn gym.
• Clair was not too hard to beat thanks to my full team chipping in. Pinky was able to win in the end as the last member standing.
• I am now saved in the Dragon's Den.

Update for Ultimate Monocolor Challenge (Pink).

Update #3 on Hard Gold.

• Took the quiz in the Dragon's Den and got the RisingBadge from Clair.
• Got the Master Ball from Elm, then went to fight the Kimono Sisters.
• They were really tough! I lost multiple times, but not before stealing 3 Leftovers and a Life Orb from Umbreon/Jolteon with Thief :bandit:.
• Finally I took them down, and I scaled the Bell Tower to defeat Ho-oh.
• Then I went through Tohjo Falls to Victory Road and the Pokemon League, defeating Silver along the way.
• Maxed out EVs and grinding my team, getting Pinky to L51, Coral to L53, and the rest to L50.
• Took on the Elite Four. They were all pretty tough, although Will was the toughest by far b/c of my lack of anti-Psychic moves.

Herlo! I did not forget about this challenge! I just got really busy irl and also had a lot of other challenges going on, haha. I made a lot of progress today though. I beat daddy, went through the sea, the abandoned ship, New Mauville, lots of Trick Houses I missed, the super grassy route, put Team Magma in their place, beat up Brendan, and went all the way down to the Safari Zone to search for my next party member, Heracross. No luck yet, so maybe next time I play this in like a month I will find it. :)

Hopefully in my next update, I'll have at least my Heracross and...ugh Chimecho. Let's keep in mind, I have only found ONE wild Chimecho in RSE, and I've replayed these games a ton of times. The one I did find (back in like 04 btw) took about two hours. Wish me luck...I'm gonna need it, lol.

Finally completed my Yellow challenge.
I started off by hacking in a Sewaddle (since I wouldn't be able to get one until after the second gym otherwise) that I named Wing.
Later on I added Kalluto the Yamask, Ging the Archen and Zeno the Axew to the team.
Just beat Alder, was originally supposed to have a video of it, but the emulator was running too slow.
Next color will be White, and I'll do Red, Gold, Ruby, Platinum and White.

Anyway, I have beaten all of the Kanto gyms, as well as Silver in the Pokemon League. I am about to challenge the Elite Four with their upgraded teams, and then it's on to fight Red!
