Ya I had to deal with it too,takes about 30 mins Max.Trust me its worth it.Plus it makes you feel like you accomplished something if you dont use magmar.

Are egg moves allowed for early-hatched Pokemon?
Also, is it allowed to have TWO eggs of different Pokemon? I don't think I can get other Pokemon that evolve into a Dark type or a Dark type themselves before Cianwood.
Another thing, if I do a Fire / Water / Grass monotype challenge, can I replace my starter with a starter of another generation?

- SS doesn't hate no$gba as long as you use the antifreeze code, save often and do frequent reloads (F12, not reset).
- Egg moves are allowed, I think.. (EJ confirm this!)
- Yes to Dark type.
- Don't think so for the elemental types.

Caught a Magikarp lv 10 that I raised to 13.
Haribo leveled up to lv 18 and Evolved.

I'm simultanously doing this challenge, while doing the Nuzlocke challenge. 8Dd Let's see how that goes, lol. I'll regularly update my journal with what's going on. Also, I write updates as if they were pages from Neon's journal. So they're all in her voice.... and she's a bit of a Diva potty-mouth weird kid. Enjoy.

→ Professor Elm-san wanted me to walk around with one of his Pokémon, to study how it'd effect Human-Pokémon bonding. I thought he was just going to give me a random Pokémon, but he let me choose the one I liked best! He even let me name it! I chose the super cute (and super blue!)Totodile as my companion and named it Hydrogen. :D
→ Some guy called before I could leave and run around with Hydrogen. When Professor Elm-san returned his attention to me, he put me on a mission! Σ(゜д゜;) I've got to meet a guy who doesn't even have a name, so I'll call him PokéMan-san
→ I met some kid with red hair, and what a dick that guy turned out to be. There I was, just saying hello, and he pushes me! What a jerk! Hydrogen was totally going to kick this guys ass but I was like, "no, he's not even worth it." and we moved on...
→ My PokéGear finally returned from the shop. ( ﾟヮﾟ) Now I can make booty calls wang wang. Thanks mom, ILU.
→ Lots of Pokémon battles as I make my way to Cherrygrove City! But I can't catch them. I have no Pokéballs. I really wanted that Sentret. >:
→ More Pokémon battles (more Pidgey and Ratatata); Hydrogen is getting really strong. :O I've finally made it to PokéMan-san's house and he gave me an EGG. Professor Oak-san was there, too, and he gave me.... a PokéDex! Cool ****ing BEANS.
→ It's Fire Crotch again. ಠ_ಠ
→ The red-haired guy kept talking all this crap to me, saying I'm weak and saying that Hydrogen was too good for me. SCREW YOU. He challenged me to a battled and I totally kicked his butt. :Dd I swiped his trainer card as he walked away.....
→ Made it back to New Bark town, fuu! Back when I was leaving PokéMan-san's house, Professor Elm-san called to cry about a bad situation that he had gotten into. And, you know me, I'm the hero. I'll always be there to save anyone! I got back ASAP to learn a Pokémon had been stolen! OMG!
→ I immediately suspected Silver, AKA Fire Crotch, and I told Professor Elm-san as much...​

Ok, I know I said id wait until I started again but I couldnt wait :D

Updates:

Re-started the game and chose Totodile as a starter for HM slave purposes.
Battled every wild Pokemon I encountered on the way to Mr Pokemon's house to Level up my Totodile to make the Rival battle easy :P

Made it to Cherrygrove and got the running shoes and map card from who I affectionatley call "The annoying Old Man".

Got to Mr Pokemons house with Totodile at level 8 and got the Mystery Egg and Pokedex.

On my way back to Prof. Elm's lab my journey was rudely interupted by a boy with bright red hair who called me "weak" and Challenged me to a battle. I immediately shown him how "weak" and, I must say, Lucky I am after defeating his Chikorita in 2 hits thanks to 2 Critical hits.

Made it back to Prof Elms lab and gave him the mystery egg.

Went back to Cherrygrove and traded over a Larvitar egg and a Murkrow egg (Only 2 eggs, I want to catch some dark types as well)

I am currently running around in circles waiting for my eggs to hatch :P

UPDATE: After an hour of hatching i finally hatched all my six eggs! ty chaos11011 for the little boost in hacthing em. Now i am training my pokes to level 8 to vs the trainers along the way right now im in cherrygrove town.

And a Carvanha with Surf, Sneasel with Swords Dance, Houndour with Nasty Plot and Flamethrower, and Absol with Swords Dance hardly qualifies as a "challenge"... at least in my opinion.

Meh, Anyway, I'll probably begin the travel to Violet City tonight, having to level up Spinarak along the way kind've stinks though.
