Rofl, they aren't. XD Ariados can hold her own, as can Venonat. Having some issues with Pineco, but that's mainly due to the fact he hasn't evolved and obtained Gyro Ball yet.

Yup, once it evolves it'll be pretty damn powerful :)

Heracross, Scyther, and Pinsir aren't as strong as you think. EV training and egg moves make them strong. :P

I'm not EV training them, not using heart scales to get moves that they learn at levels before the evolution takes place, and not using hard to get TMs, so Heracross and Pinsir will not outclass the others, not by a long shot. ;P

Haha I think Heart Scales should still be fine.. I just have a thing against Heracross. :( Haha..

Update on my Dark challenge.
- Cacnea evolved into Cacturne
- I kicked out the Team Rocket From magohany Town
- I get my seventh badge
- I kicked out the Team Rocket from Goldenrod City

Just wondering, are almost the whole team from Safari Zone? Haha.

And how's Cacturne?

Update #10 - Double Digit Anniversary! =.="

So, after I defeated Chuck, and sent the SecretPotion back to Jasmine, I knew what I wanted to do: Get our long lost companion, the Kangaskhan.

Am I the only one that has problems with this Magmar/Electabuzz duo? Thunderbolt + Flamethrower on the same target rapes my Pokemon.

(That's after painfully waiting for 3 hours!)
My Sandshrew came with a Quick Claw :D

And I got my Kangaskhan! Which I named as Dino. It's pretty powerful!

Jasmine will always stay as my favourite girl in HGSS :D

This battle WAS HARD.
- Each Thunderbolt from Magnemite takes off 1/2 of any of my Pokemon's HP, except Farfetch'd (which is a HM Slave and dies in one)
- Retarded Steel typing means I can't do **** about it, and had to resort to Focus Blasts from Furry and Body Slam from Miltank (in hope to paralyze)
- THUNDER WAVE IS THE MOST IRRITATING ATTACK IN THE GAME.
- Iron Tail was the same as Thunderbolt, except it did MORE damage.
- And I had to reset till Focus Blast didn't miss to take out Steelix. :(

Gyarados wasn't much problem, somehow it decided to spam twister on me instead of Thrash. o.o

Yup, I'm loving my team right now! And yes the SOLE purpose of using Dino was for OUTRAGE. I still remember when I saw Outrage in its move list I went wtf?!?! MUST USE

Yup I totally agree. :) Plus most Normal types are able to learn the elemental attacks (even though the SpA of them sucks =P) I might do another normal challenge after this, if I have the time hahaha.

I used Pelipper before in Diamond! Mediocre but not too bad =P I had Air Slash, Surf and Ice Beam and it was able to take some physical hits (100 Defense o.o)

Update #11 - You pay the Pryce for being a Rocket!

I promise, this will be the last update with picture spam. (Hence spoilered) I think I'll take a more simplistic approach from the next update onwards, the bizzare amount of pictures are going out of control (as you can see in the below update; I'm too lazy to edit them lol)

More Rocket Grunts for free exp @ Persian statues :D And Kangaskhan tanks Selfdestructs without hassle. Plus I've got Milk Drink to heal! Pwnage.

Someone (Rival) comes and talks crap about Lance being powerful. And Lance, don't interfere! I could totally take this battle myself, just like how normally two trainers look at me at the same time right!

Woah wait wait, what's with the underleveled Dragonite? You gamesharked or something?

It's got retarded attacks, mind you. Anyway, Headbutt worked like a charm here, luckily the Electrodes didn't Selfdestruct.Ice Gym trainers weren't a problem mostly, except for a few headbutts wasted on Resting Seels and Dewgongs.

This is one of the gym battles that I didn't reset at all!
- Stantler 'took down' Seel, so its job is done.
- Miltank takes 30 damage from Blizzard. Thick Fat rocks!
- Needed a Full Heal to cure Freeze; Body Slams owned thereafter.
- Used a Rollout at the end to buff up power for Dewgong, but I keep missing. All thanks to Mud Bombs from Piloswine!
- Dino punched through Dewgong.

Being the justice leader I am, I responded to Elm's request by flying to Goldenrod. Time to wear that cool looking Rocket uniform! I really hope I could wear it for the rest of my journey, but nope.

And I could never get 1st prize in the lottery. What the hell!
(I love the reactions of people in the town, thinking you are Team Rocket.)

That Someone had to come and screw things up.

Due to the nature of Rocket Grunts being all the same, and the fact that I don't want to add ANYMORE screenshots to this update, I decided to skip through all of them.

Petrel's a good guy! And he Selfdestructed numerous times on my Miltank, doing.. 40 damage?

Met another Kimono Girl on the way. Wait, aren't they all the same?

Meganium was a pain to take down, to be honest. Reflect + Synthesis makes it super tank. Luckily I could stall it through Milk Drink too :D

Got basement key, went back to Radio Tower, thrashed Ariana and whoever the other admin is, and up to the observation deck. Furret wanted to take a look from above, so I let it.

What, he uses a Koffing. -.-
And I realised Headbutt does about the same damage as Focus Blast.. so.. urm.. well.

Tip of the day: Talk to the radio tower people to get cool stuff. I didn't know you could get Sunny Day TM + Brightpowder there.

After beating Morty, I decided to train some more, and begun the arduous task of grinding even more levels. XD I got to level 31 with all of them before leaving Ecruteak for Olivine, XD (The level Venonat and Pineco evolve :P)

I also caught a Tauros in order to have a pokemon with surf~. I kind've liked my first few screenshot sets, where I just let the screenies speak for themselves, so I'm going to try that again, XD

Yeah. Emulators are Ok as long as you have a decent computer, I tried to play Soul Silver on an Emulator before it was released and it was pretty slow and choppy but that was probably because i was using a laptop :P

As long as you have a decent computer it should be ok :)

Im pretty sure on of the Emulators (DesUme or something) lets you hold one of the button's which doubles the game speed so you can skip through the boring stuff at the start. :)

I'll have another Update tomorrow as I wont have time to play Heart gold today :(

As long as you have a Core 2 Duo the emulator should run at ~125-150% speed overworld, ~250-350% speed in battle.

As long as you have a Core 2 Duo the emulator should run at ~125-150% speed overworld, ~250-350% speed in battle.

My Emulator was strange, It ran at 120% for about 30 mins but then it got really slow and started to run at about 50%. No Idea why
