ok update #1 lets go bugs whooo!​
  • got tododile from prof elm​
  • ran that lazy b**tards errand​
  • talked about eggs and stuff with mr. pokemin and prof oak​
  • prof oak gave me a new pokedex​
  • went outside​
  • elm called me​
  • went over to cherrygrove where i met HIM(actual rival's name)​
  • beat him with 5 strategic leers and 1 scratch​
  • talked about robbery​
  • learned how to catch pokemon from "girl"-"friend" ;D​
  • caught 1 weedle and pigey​
  • traded pigey for spinarak​
  • trained on my way to cherrygrove​
  • weedle evos​
  • falkner was a pain in the a** especially since none of my pokemon would listen​
  • finally after the 10th time (srsly the 10th time) i beat him​
  • kakuna evos​
  • and i was able to go to azelea​
  • frist thing i did was beat team roket easy​
  • then on to my rival​
  • beat "him" on 3rd try​
  • went and got headbutt​
  • headbutt time in azelea​
  • battled a heracross and caught it​
  • trained the heracross​
  • challenged bugsy with a heracross that knew arial ace!​
  • beat him first time​
  • now i could finally get my ariados​
  • on my way training in ilex forest i found a paras​
  • cuaght it​
  • spinarak evos​
  • i train paras​
  • paras evos after many many many battles​
  • went to daycare​
  • got to goldenrod and of course for some odd reason i wanted aa radio card​
  • got a radio card and met whitney​
  • beat whitney with heracross​
  • caught a yanma​
  • went to join the bug catching contest​
  • caught a caterpie​
  • caught a beedrill​
  • CAUGHT A SCYTHER!!!!!​
  • trained both scyther and yanma​
  • challenged rival​
  • challenged morty​
  • sweeped morty's entire team with sucker puch (thank u ariados)​
  • yanma learned ancient power but deicded not to evo since it can learn hypnosis​

Yo. Do you all count Heatran a Legendary? I know some people do and some people don't, but I'm ready to strangle that Bayleef and I don't want to break the rules. >:C

EDIT: Never mind, I'll try my luck with Steelix.

@TrainRidesBy, technically part of what you just said was impossible, considering you can't use Cut til after beating Bugsy, and you gotta use Cut to get to the Headbutt guy. You said you used headbutt, got a Heracross, then challenged Bugsy. Correct me if I'm wrong, but something seems a little fishy bout that.
 
- Beat Rivalman, thanks to a well-timed critical hit. HOO YEAH!!
- Realized that I totally should have named him 'Koya'.
- Went into Ilex Forest and did the little brat's chores for him.
- Caught a nearby Paras and taught it Cut.
- Ever seen a Steelix jumping? It's not a pretty picture, I tell you.
- Met Lyra's grandparents.
- Hit Goldenrod. You know what that means: SCYTHER!
- Since according to the game it's Thursday, I fought the battles along Route 35 (including Stalker Juggler Irwin for the LOLz) and went to the Bug-Catching Contest.
- Realized that I made the worst Pokémon choice ever. Steelix + super effective moves + Scyther on the line = bad.
- I saw three Butterfrees. I saw three Beedrills. I saw at least five Paras. Heck, I saw a Pinsir. But there's NO [censored] SCYTHER. Grey is about to make like Steelix and RAGE.
- And just to top it all off Steelix was paralyzed and at half health, because I forgot they don't heal your Pokémon in this game.
- Steelix was downed by a Pinsir. Scyther challenge is FAIL.
- And then the first prize winner CAUGHT A SCYTHER. RAAAAAAAAAAAAGE.
- Oh well, I'll just have to fiddle with the clock and try again. 'Cause I'm not giving up without that Scyther, no sir, not me. >C
- ...Er, or not. RRRRAAAAAGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
- Figured I would just breed my own Scyther since the Day-Care is right south of Goldenrod.
- Pointed and laughed at the Bug-Catching Contest and went off to the Pokémon Center to trade for a mommy Scyther and catch a Ditto.
- At least I found a Ditto alright...
- "STEELIX was squeezed by the wild DITTO!" Eww.
- After much struggling and about ten Pokéballs, I caught Ditto. Now to find a Scyther and shove it in the Day-Care... heh heh...

All right, first update!

- Started off where I previously left off; Lake of Rage.
- Delayed the capturing of the Red Gyarados and settled for chatting with the locals. Got a few last minute training sessions in as well.
- Challenged that pesky Gyarados and ended up capturing it seeing as my Feraligatr is ugly, it's now my aquatic transportation HM slave.
- Spoke with the dreamy Lance. Told him I wouldn't help him and proceeded to annoy his Dragonite. Ceri is still roaring at me; yeah, I was real intimidated.
- Agreed to help Lance.
- Trained a little bit more and delayed Ceri's evolution.
- Headed towards the ever-so suspicious Souvenir Shop. Watched Lance do his thing and fantasized about him. He's SOOOOO dreamy!
- Proceeded to let Lance be the hero he is and followed him into the Team Rocket HQ. I'm sure my mother would be so proud!
- Challenged that pesky Rocket Grunt, you know "Mister Hyuck-hyuck-hyuck", and Ceri kicked that Raticate's butt after getting Hyper Fanged. Afterwards, she evolved and I know have two Ariados'.
- Silver a.k.a. "???" began to rant to me. I ignored him then adored his hair; red.. it's such a beautiful color.
- Beat that smoker, Petrel, and laughed at his hair.
- Followed the Murkrow and teamed up with Mr. Dreamy and owned Ariana and that silly little grunt.
- Cried when Lance left me with that beautiful speech.
- Wandered around a bit more and finally decided to go teach that Pryce some manners. I'll stay on his tundra of a lawn all I want!
- Saved right before Pryce.

Twinsand has a very valid point.

Train rides by, I would like an explanation. How were you able to use cut without Bugsy's badge?
 
i never had to use cut?
where would i have to use it

You still need his badge to utilize Cut outside of battle.

Explanation?
 
its ok few i felt like i was in the hot seat but still its kind of cheating even if its really only 1 step away from actually obtaining it
