No, no, it's fine. I've actually already started creating yours, since you mentioned it first. I actually think it's a great idea. Why shouldn't the Champions be rewarded for their effort and hard work?

I like the idea of champion userbars.

I think you should put on there the strongest of that type. Like a ground type champ would have rhyperior, mamoswine, and like a steelix or something.

Um... I actually had a much different idea, and I kind of already made the Userbar...

My idea was to use the Overworld sprites of the Champion's team when they defeated Red (or the Pokemon League, which ever they stopped at), and an Overworld sprite of the character that best matched their type. For example, Toxic Potato used Fighting-types so he would get a Black Belt Overworld sprite.

Or maybe like 3 of that persons Pokemon, if you want to get real personalized. (But that would take awhile if you did that for each champion.)

~ Chosen Totodile. (HM Slave 1, 3, 5, 7)
~ All initial stuff done. Apricorn Box obtained.

~ Obtained HM06 Rock Smash from Guy in Route 36 and teached to Geodude.
~ Togepi Egg obtained.
~ Ruins of Alph visited.
~ Unown G catched and Unownblocker obtained.
~ Route 32, 33 and Union Cave completed. Old Rod obtained.
~ Arrived in Azalea Town.
~ Togepi Egg hatched, and stored.
~ Slowpoke Well Quest completed.
~ Azalea Gym and Rival defeated. Houndour evolved!
~ Ilex Forest and Route 34 completed.
~ Obtained HM01 Cut and teached to Totodile.
~ Arrived in Goldenrod City.

~ Trained in the wild HM Slaves, Totodile evolved into Croconaw and Geodude at Lv. 15.

Actually, I downloaded the entire Overworld Sprite Pack from Project Pokemon, so it's not that hard to get the Sprites I need. Just arduous, since each Sprite has damn near ten variations, and I only need one.
 
That sounds a lot better than my idea. I'm glad I got you guys =p
 
Well, anyways, now that my Fighting challenge is done, I do plan on starting a Steel one a bit later on, but I'm not sure how I'm going to get a Riolu and Beldum egg.

Sure, but it's gonna take some thinking.

I guess, "Don't forget you can import eggs if the game lacks your type, like I did, or you'll be stuck with the same Pokemon for 3+ Gyms."

Little Update.

~ Goldenrod Gym defeated. Larvitar evolved!
~ Squirtbottle obtained.
~ Catched and stored Sudowoodo.
~ Berry Pots obtained from the guy near where Sudowoodo were.
~ Route 37 completed.
~ Arrived in Ecruteak City.
~ Met Bill in the Pokèmon Center.
~ Burned Tower Quest completed.
~ Ecruteak Gym defeated.
~ Dowsing Machine obtained.
~ Obtained HM03 Surf from Old Man in Kimono Theatre and teached to Croconaw.
~ Route 42 completed, and HM04 Strength obtained from Hiker.

Olivine, we are coming! :)

Update:
Got through the Radio tower. well more like stumbled through. completely forgot about the rival battle. Sneasel KO'ed Nightowl. but one flamethrower took care of that (i love that dragon). nobody else was very good. Flyboy kept getting Ko'ed because nearly every battle had a Muk or something that explodes T_T. Seriously not cool. The execs were easy as cake. Whats his face, Archer or something, wasn't nearly as hard as last time. Two Aqua Tails took out his Houndoom. the other two were jokes. Got the silver wing. do i have to do the Lugia event, or can i just skip it? It's soooo boring. The Eeveelutions the kimono girls have are good training though.... oh well, i'm not there yet. Currently fight trainers on the way to Ice Cave. Here i come Delibird! (then the dragons will fall, muahahahahaha......)

You mean that you want the text 'Bug-type' on the Userbar? Trust me, I tried fitting it. It just wouldn't go, no matter what I did (that's what she said). That's why I made sure to have the colors and the Pokemon imply what the person's choice for type was. If I try to fit Bug-type in somewhere, all the text will look really bunched together, which'll make the bar look terrible.
 
nah it's fine. currently using it, and it's awesome.
