- Arrived at Cherrygrove Town .
- Recieved my running shoes & a map....Thanks creepy old guy ;D
- Got to Mr . Pokemon's house & Left with a new PokeDex & a thingy for me to take to Prof . Elm .
- But when I get outside , Elmy Poo calls me saying something bad happened !
- On my way back home, some dude battles me, but it's alright since I totally owned him ^-^
- Turns out that guy that I battled stole that Pokemon ! What a dick, right ?
- I name my new Rival Adam .
- Anyway , after all that's settled , I decide to head towards Violet City to wipe out Bell Tower&Folkner !

Update #3

Decided to do the Ice Gym first, as I foresee heavy problem with Steels.

- Lance: "Dragonite, Hyper Beam." Noob. Where's Giga Impact?
- Persian Statues! Free exp. :)

Oh by the way I caught a Pineco, but I'm waiting for a Shuckle so that I can breed the move Power Trick on it.

Rocket Hideout was crap.

- Time for Ice Gym!

- Ice Shard dealt 10 damage to my Razor.
- Ok, Pryce's Ice attacks are owning me. SLEEP TALK IS IRRITATING.
- SLEEP ROCKS. Though Pipp died from Blizzard.. :(
- Razor survived a hit from Blizzard, and Bullet Seeded Piloswine to death.
- Got Hail, which I can't use.

- Time for the left side.

- FARFETCH'D! I NEED THIS CUT + FLY HM SLAVE.
- Bullet Seed hit 5 times and fainted it. Thanks.
- Got another one, named it Cufly, because it.. Cuts and Flies.
- Slowpokes rock because they let me heal through Leech Life.
- The trick to fighting Pikachu is, to use non-contact moves.

- Lighthouse was cake.
- Time to surf.
- Wild Mantine appeared!
- Got away safely.

And finally, Cianwood City!

- Why can't I use the SecretPotion? "It fully heals a Pokemon of any ailment."
- Got my Shuckie! Yay! Will throw it to the Daycare after I get fly.
- Time to give Eusine a whacking.
- ...
- Eusine: "Yo, Emoxy." Yo.
- Electrode nearly fainted my Pipp. Phew.
- And I keep forgetting that I have SILVER WIND (Drowzee).

- He's so into his training, he doesn't seem to notice you.
- Decided to use Razor against this gym because of the free Attack EVs.
- Instead ofIce Punch, Hitmonchan decided that Mach Punch and Thunderpunch was the way to go to Razor. He really needs to mug Pokemon.
- ROCK SLIDE IS PAINFUL.

- HAHAHA! BEST MATCH EVER!

Funniest Gym battle I've ever had.

- Giga Drain replaces Bullet Seed. Needs more PP, though..
- Off to Goldenrod to leave Shuckie with Daycare. I NEED POWER TRICK! I AM OVERLEVELED!
- I'm leaving a lot of the trainers that I didn't fight at the Surfing routes to my future Pineco.

- I finally get to Violet City & decide to take on the Bell Town first off .

- I take on Folkner & His Pideottto KEEPS using roost D:<
- But I eventually get the best of him .

Alright, I will be starting today! Sorry for the delay.. for those of you that didn't see the first post or my application, I'm doing a Fire-type challenge. I'm going to try to do it as fast as possible so that I can do an Electric-type challenge afterwards. :) I've got the userbar in my sig and I'm ready to go.. should have my first update before the day's over!

UPDATE:

-Arrived on Route 32.
-Out of pure curiosity, headed to the left and ended up in some strange ruins.
-Solved a few puzzles and ended up falling down deeper into the ruins.
-Some strange pokemon shaped like letters attacked me. I fended them off with Zubat.
-Escaped and went back to route 32.
-Battled a few trainers, nothing too special here.
-Went inside a lone pokemon center where I recieved a broken down fishing rod from a random fisherman. I figured, why not use it?
-Fished on route 32 and caught a magikarp.
-After training for a bit, headed into union cave.
-I was ambushed by pyros and wierd scientists, until finally I exited the cave.
-Ran through route 33 and into Azelea town, and watched a Team rocket grunt harass someone. Headed into the well in front of me.
-Battled Team Rocket grunts and saved slowpoke well. Pidgey evolved into Pidgeotto.
-Headed into the gym in the town. Demolished the trainers inside.

Gym Leader Battle:
-Scyther was a bit of a problem, I used gust with Pidgeotto as much as I could, until Pidgeotto fainted.
-Sent out Zubat and used wing attack to finish off Scyther.
-Kakuna and Metapod couldn't stand a change, as Zubat swept them both with Wing Attack.
-Recieved the second gym badge from bugsy and a TM.
-Ran out and started heading to Ilex forest but...

Rival Battle
-Ambushed by the redhead again. He sends out a gastly on my poor magikarp.
-Switched out to zubat, gastly curses zubat. Zubat uses bite for the OHKO.
-Sent out Pidgeotto againt his bayleef. Pidgeotto is poisoned by poisonpowder but manages to gust Bayleef to death.
-Silver sends out Zubat... I send out Zubat.
-His Zubat manages to confuse mine with a cunning supersonic, and my zubat faints.
-I send out Pidgeotto who manges to get quick attack off before getting affected by poison. Rushed back to the pokemon center before he faints.
-Headed to Ilex forest...

Update #4

- Jasmine doesn't want to go back with me :( So she went down the stairs instead of the elevator.
- Taught Dig to Razor as I'm scared of Jasmine..

Jasmine Fight:
- Magnemite dies to Dig.
- Giga Drain did more damage to Steelix than dig, surprisingly. Screech + Iron Tail brought my Razor down to 10HP, but Giga Drain owned it.

Couldn't wait for Shuckie to reach Level 47, so breeded my Razor with the Pineco instead. Now I got a Pineco with Giga Drain! Named it Fortress. :D

- Started Level grinding.
- Exp. Share + A few wild Pokemon.
- Went into the Radio Tower to grind up Fortress.

Radio Tower:

- Oh! That's the director! .. Not.
- Razor had to miss 4 Slashes in 1 Smokescreen, dying through Poison.
- I took the Basement Key with GRATITUDE.
- Oohh, pretty lady! May I.. Gosh, she ran away so fast, saying something about the legendary.. Oops! Let's continue.
- And here comes Redhair!
- .. My underleveled Fortress owned his Magnemite. :)
- And Pipp OHKO-ed Meganium with a CH Silver Wind!
- What are Burglars doing here?

- Save the Pokemon nationwide!
- Fortress evolved into Forretress!
- Petrel and Ariana got disposed of.
- Ariana's Vileplume used Sweet Scent.
- Ok, Houndoor is wreaking havoc on my Bugs.
- And now Houndoom. This is a problem.
- My Pipp's speed tied with his Houndoom after I leveled up by 1.
- Phew, Archer is defeated. Now I can see that Houndoom in the E4 is REALLY a problem.

- On to Clair!
- Fisherman: "The POLIWAG that got away... It was huge. I swear it must've been 82 feet long!" Yeah, yeah.
- Ice Cave.
- I disappeared!

- And I came out of Ice Cave after meeting another pretty lady.

Dragon Gym

Spoiler:

- Still grinding Fortress, though.
- Clair's Gyarados is a pain. I had to teach Shadow Ball to Pipp to get past it.
- Sleep Powder + Bug Buzz = Dragonair dies.
- Kingdra is the problem. Dragon Pulse owned Pipp; an attempt to use Fortress to tank Dragon Pulse failed (got almost OHKO-ed by Hydro Pump instead, and died soon thereafter). Kingdra was too arrogant though, and healed Razor through Hydro Pump.
- Soon after a 4-turn sleep in Spore and a CH in Giga Drain brought me to victory.
- Pipp died, though :(

- Fortress is having problem due to the low level :( Guess I need some grinding after.
- What are Pokemon to you? Friend.
- What helps you to win battles? Strategy.
- What kind of Trainer do you wish to battle? Anyone.
- What is most important for rasing Pokemon? Love, of course!
- Strong Pokemon. Weak Pokemon. Which is more important? Both! (I wonder why the choices are 'Strength' and 'Weakness'..)
- And Clair gets pawned.

- Grinding time!
- I thought that Gligar isn't red, so I thought I met a shiny one. -.-
- BUT I GOT POKERUS WTF!!!!

Alright, so I'm not at this point yet, but I'm just wondering, is it ok to catch and level up Pokemon that aren't the type we choose, but only use them for egg moves? I won't use them for the story line or anything, just as parents for the ones I will use for the storyline.

No Scyther because I can't evolve it, and because I think it would make it less of a challenge =P Only if the game gets really hard, which I think it will... >< And I think I would probably use Pinsir instead of Scyther too.

Yup, will add more of course, just haven't thought of who to use yet. NO HERACROSS! XD

I think I will do this challenge with the Ice type. Is it okay if I trade across two eggs? =] I so, I think I will trade across Sneasel and Swinub, and evolve the Eevee from Bill into Glaceon.

^Yep. When I did it I only brought in Seel and I was forced to use it for 3 gyms until Bill gave me the Eevee. So it's a better idea to bring two in.

@Yomamathecableguy: Yeah, you can breed for egg moves. I did it for Sneasel and Ice punch.

@emoxy: Scyther is still an amazing pokemon without evolution. He has a really good attack and speed stat.
