Anyway that's Lance's last Pokemon KO'D It was his level 50 Dragonite. To rub it in I OHKO'D it with Ice Fang thanks to a Crit :P

As so as I left home I caught a Sentret and with it caught a Hoothoot. (But had some problem as he kept putting Sentret to sleep.)

Trained them on my way to Violet City by batteling a few Yongster and Bugcatcher trainers.

I reached Violet City, but wanted to do some more trainning so I went straight to the Sprout Tower where I fought the sages and their....several Bellsprouts.....and like two Hoothoots.

But after fighting the elder, I was thrilled as my Sentret then evolved into Furret.

I went stright to the Violet gym and fought to more trainer to get to the Gym Leader Falkner. His Pidgey was easy for my Furret to beat, but my luck changed as his Pidgeotto took him out fast.

Yet I was able to beat him with Hoothoot, by putting it to sleep with Hypnosis and Tackle.

I then made my way to the Poke Mart as I had gotten a call from Prof Elm to pick up a package. It turned out to be an egg in which I was given to hatch.

I traveled trough Route 32 and Union Cave and doing so battled more trainers like more Youngters and Supernerds.

When I got out of the cave I was shocked to see Team Rocket going into the Slowpoke Well.

Haha I'm doing it out of pure boredom; it should be rather challenging, thrashing Fire Red with my Mawile now, but I think HGSS versions with Mawile is almost impossible - I guess Red's Pikachu would Outspeed me and Thunderbolt me to death with that goddamn Light Ball.

Emoxy you laugh at peck but with Nyx's attack stat it ko's a lot of pokemon. It's a really strong move. Oh and Steel is a beast!

Haha sadly there aren't anymore good moves available for Skarm, except Drill Peck which must be bred. Try Aerial Ace?

I'm not sure if I'm going to change any of Nyx's moves. If I do I'm kinda limited because her special attack really sucks, it's the lowest stat she has. I might teach her roost but I'm not sure yet.

I have no Idea how I did it in 17 hours :P

It's maybe messed up because when I took the picture with my webcam everything was back to front and I had to put it on Photoshop and reverse the picture. I might not have reversed the time properly, It's maybe meant to read 32 hours 17 minutes. That seems more likely :P

Found out that I can only get most of the Dark-types after beating the Elite Four. How am I going to defeat the Elite Four with a Weavile and Tyranitar? Or how do I get the other Dark types?

Ej said that you can trade in eggs. Eevee also evolves into umbreon. Or if you don't want to do that you can always try a different type.

Hey Ho, Kanto i´m coming

I stopped played before Lance and here´s how the fight went:

Lance sent out Gyarados. Go Bobby. Bobby used thunderpunch, Gyarados Trash, but missed. Again Thunderpunch and Gyarados fainted.

Lance sent out Charizard, i switched to Chops. Charizard used Air Slash(~60%), Chops used Rock Tomb for about ~99%. Lance used Fullrestore and Chops again Rock Tomb... Charizard was still alive so i used a hi potion...for next ten rounds it was Air Slash, HiPotion, Air Slash til Charizard misses. then Chops used Strength and Charizard fainted.

Lance sent out Aerodactyl. I switched to Bobby and used Sky Uppercut. Aerodactyl was faster and OHKOed Bobby with aerial ace(Crit). I sent in Delia and he used Aerial ace, Delia survived the hit (~55% Hp left) and used Blizzard, OHKO.
Lance sent out his first Dragonite, I kept Delia. Delia used Blizzard and to my Surprise Delia attacked first and landet a OHKO.

Lance sent out his next Dragonite (lv 50), I kept Delia. This Dragonite was faster and Outrage let Delia faint. Chops had no PP left for Rock Tomb, so i used Julie and then a Max Revive on Delia. Julie took two Outrages and fainted. I switched to Delia, she took an Outrage (~65% Damage) and counters with Blizzard. Dragonite was history.

Lance sent out his last Dragonite, kept Delia and used a HiPotion while Dragonite used ThunderWave. Delia took an Outrage and finishes Dragonite with a Blizzard off.

Delia is a real Beast it takes damages and then often kills her foes or is simply faster than the other Pokemon, I highly recommend Poliwrath to everyone who is doing a Water or Fighting Challenge.

Chose a female sprite and named myself Rzepka after Charles J. Rzepka, whose book Detective Fiction was central to my dissertation. Picked Totodile as my Starter as he's the best with HMs, and set off towards Mister Pokémon's house. I avoided all battles except for the Rival battle. I named my Rival Holmes, after Sherlock Holmes. I then had to close down my DS for the night because Sentrets only appear during the day-time, boo. (I did try catching one on my PokéWalker with a now-released Hoothoot, but I kept running into Pidgeys and Nidorans.)

→ CAUGHT THE FIRST NORMAL
I booted up this morning and immediately caught a Sentret after Ethan's catching tutorial. I named her Mossa, after Kell Mossa the Pariah from DC Comics. Did some grinding on Route 29, then set off for Violet City via Cherrygrove.

→ BELLSPROUT TOWER
Climbed to the top of Bellsprout Tower once I reached Violet City, defeated the Master and got TM70: Flash. Went down towards the Ruins of Alph to do some training before facing the gym. Oh Volkner, how I despise your Pidgeotto's strength.

• Met this weird guy who shouts 'Shard de Berry' and trades shards for berries.
• Generated a Stunky egg and a Carvanha egg. Rolled a bit low (around 13) in all of the Stunky's IVs, and rolled pretty good (around 23) for the Carvanha's IVs (except for Sp.Def., which was 4).
• Still exploring Violet city.

Just murdered Lt. Surge, XD Amazing how strong Gyro Ball from a Forretress is vs an Electrode, while said Forretress is paralyzed. One shot all his pokemon, even with it being Not Very Effective, lol. (EDIT: Except his last Electrode... had to use a Bug Bite to get him down to Half Health, as I missed the first shot of pokemon + Lt. Surge :P)

And Faustus, EJ clarified last page that eligible types (dark being one of them) can get 3 eggs, not 2. :) And if I can beat the elite 4 with an Ariados, Forretress, and Venomoth as my main 3, you can do it with 3. XD

I'll be posting a regular update either within the next few hours, or tomorrow. XD I'm still taking pics as I go. :P

EDIT: It depresses me how fast the Kanto Gyms are (together). -.-;

Sabrina is down. She killed Charlotte though :( Espeon moved before her, and BOOM Psychic kill. >_< On Erika now :3

EDIT2: Erika went down without a struggle, XD Amazing what Poison Jab, Megahorn, and X-Scissor can do. Considering replacing Roost with Giga Drain on Venomoth, or grinding until Strobe learns Zap Cannon to make Misty a bit easier...

What I did when I wanted to do the Dark challenge (but cancelled) was to catch wild Pokemon and turn them into eggs. =P If you change their level and level them up they will have the correct stats anyway.

Carvanha can't take any hits anyway =P

• Got lost, ended up in some Ruins instead of Sprout Tower. At least I know that Ekans are native to Johto. Ekans and Arbok are awesome.
• After a bit of wandering around, I finally found Sprout Tower and fought some Sprout Sages.
• Saw Naoya at the top of Sprout Tower, being arrogant as usual. I expected a battle D:
• Defeated the last Sage.
• Trained a bit and caught an Ekans. Named it 'Monty' and sent it to someone's PC.
• Went (O.O) at the rising platform in the Violet Gym.
• Defeated some pathetic trainers who used Spearow, Pidgey and Hoothoot.
• Defeated Falkner. I didn't expect him to have a Pidgeotto, but I remembered that even if he's the first Gym Leader, he's still a Gym Leader and probably has an evolved form of the Pokemon used by his trainees.
• Got the Egg from the scientist and a... Super Potion from mom?
• Met this girl who told me to take care of the egg.
• Explored the Ruins of Alph again, being the curious little kid that I am, and found the word 'ESCAPE' inscribed in Unown letters. Escape... Rope? I discovered a door and it contained some items.
