We have release dates! July the 15th for America and Europe, July the 16th for Australia (can't sell non-Pokemon titles on a Friday...)

There's also a new set of limited editions n3DS XLs for it as well (with the game installed, unless again you're in Australia.) And there'll be demo again prior to release.

    Who's excited? :B

I tell you what, I'm hyped at the ability to play as a Felyne in Generations!
    Spoiler:

I don't know what else to say other than that so far. I suppose I must say I feel the special edition 3DS for MH4U was better-looking.

Colour me shocked that it's got a simultaneous release for US and EU territories. I didn't think such a thing was possible any more; I thought you needed to tack on at least a week for no reason.

That aside, I'll probably wind up getting this. I didn't spend much time on MH4U - at least not when compared to MH3 on Wii - but I suppose if they're not going to bring it to a console again like they should I'll need to get used to the New 3DS control scheme, and the different styles of gameplay in this one are intriguing. Plus...new game, new monsters. It's always fun taking them on that first time, even if it usually ends in horrid death until you can scavenge up some decent equipment.

The N3DS XL is rather nice. If I had more money than sense I'd pick it up to go alongside the MH4U one I picked up, buuut...yeah. I think I prefer the silver design anyway.

I agree that I prefer the silver MH4U-n3DS XL design (enough that I got it, haha). These are nice too however.

I probably will get this game, I played MH4U for only a short time and I enjoyed it very much but I didn't want to buy it again now since I knew there was a new one coming out soon. The one I'm really excited for and hope comes to America is Monster Hunter Stories.

Meanwhile, Europe and Australia are still waiting for FE: Fates (especially if you're waiting for the reshipment of the Special Edition like me, which won't arrive until next month...).
You'd think they'd be able to have a global release date for a first-party game, but alas, that's just high hopes.

I'm kinda looking forward to Generations, and kinda not. The new hunting styles look cool, I just hope the game will still feel like Monster Hunter and not a button-mash ARPG (I've heard crazy stuff with the new styles, looking at you, 4 Aerial LBGs with Pellet shots). Also, the last MH game was only a year ago. I'm kinda hoping they don't release MH games yearly, otherwise they will wear off on me really quickly and I may only stick to the new generation game released every few years.

Super excited, also glad to see there are MH fans here! I might possibly love the series more than Pokemon--forgive my heresy.

I've stayed semi-blind about the game, in that I know who all the monsters are but not how they play, nor do I know much about the styles. I've already got the MH4U N3DS, so I won't be getting either special edition this time.

Astalos is my favorite looking of the new monsters. What's everyone else's?
