In my defense their focus is much different so they deserve a thread of their own

So if you don't know, Monstercat is a music label specifically meant for up-and-coming artists who can't afford to pay millions of dollars to sign up with blah blah blah basically they're the ROM hacking forum of music labels. Not much fame and recognition but they still make some songs that are very good.

So now that you know about Monstercat, go buy some of their songs!

And if you already have, what artists have you discovered?

And what do you think of their approach?

TELEVISOR! their nu disco is the shizz! That mostly what I play on plug.dj, I love them so much. I like how they separate the songs by genre? Kinda cool to be all colour-coded and all.

I have a number of their YouTube videos bookmarked. They're my go-to for electronic music, after having made me like it. I don't bother to get into particular arists, just a few tracks, mostly labelled DnB and Electro. Everyone on this board should hear this, the only RBY trainer battle remix to maintain the intensity of the original. Do they do physical albums? I would consider buying, given that.

When I was in search for some house music, Monstercat was the first link I found, and I'm glad I did. I haven't listened to their stuff for a while (as I haven't been in a music mood), but I have the playlists for house and electro saved under my bookmarks. Electro is where a few of my favorite songs are, like Stock & Pull, Adventure Time, and Resurrection of the Dagger. Haven't really listened to the other genres, but some day I will.

So does anyone hear listen to Tut Tut Child? He's one of their "main" artists, I suppose, and he's pretty good. His songs always are very energetic, and I like that because I'm not a very energetic person myself and it's nice to have a change of pace :p

Oh yes, Tut Tut Child. He don't really work my favourite genre, but I always enjoy his take on things in their remixes. That song just got me dancing.
