More boys on PC or girls

More Girls or Boy on PC

There are definitely more boys than girls but it's not like it's an overwhelming amount.
 
There are more boys on PC, Definitely.

I also have been noticing these things. Not saying that Pokemon is for just guys and all, but it's true. PC has more boys then girls. Sorry girls. >.< Although many of the girls are active around PC more then I so I can't say anything.
 
I would have guessed girls, actually. I haven't really been paying attention, though. This place is too collectively androgynous for me to make a good estimate.
 
yeah dude, there are definetly more boys than girls on this site; Before I would have said it was pretty even but like..Most of the people I thought were girls here turned out to actually be guys xDD
 
The general consensus is that males outnumber females at PC. I'm inclined to agree.
 
Boys, boys. Yep, more of my gender here. I'm a male, most are male, I'm just adding to the population. XP

There are no girls on the internet, fool. Of course there is more guys on PC than girls (I bet you love that, too.)
 
More Boys on PC of course. I heard girls use Macs on Pc. Pfft. Stupid creativity.
 
My opinion was made by the statistics of the "Are you a Boy or a Girl?" thread by 22sa and the more ancient polls linked within the first post. I'm keen to say that there are more boys on this forum than girls. Though I wish this thread was just another version of 'Are you male or female' rather than asking for members' opinions on whether there are more boys than girls. But that's just me. :x
 
I think the results are like how they are because some girls woudn't bother with a poll like this. Not everyone reads all the topics... VV''
 
Sadly to say, there are more guys that like pokemon then girls in general, i don't see very many girls play pokemon at my school. So i assume the same amount of population on this forum. >.>
 
A estimate would be 3:1 Boy: Girl ratio.
And of the people who would still use the site, around 85% of the below 18, with a larger number being in the 12-15 age category.

Personality wise, the chances are that they're also a bit quiet in large numbers, but tend to have a rather outgoing side that is only used for a small group of friends. And lets face it, spend a lot of time on a computer.

3:1 might be a bit much, maybe somewhere between 1.5-2.5:1 instead. x_>

Also, I don't know ANY girls in real life that like/play pokemon... hell no one in my town (except for a few other boys) play pokemon.

As for why there are more boys then girls, its because pokemon is (as other said) an RPG, its violent and includes kids suing animals with powers to harm other animals with powers. Usualyl when there involves violence in games/shows, its boys that play/watch them not girls.
 
there are more boys definitely but im actually surprised that there are allot of girls too when i first signed up i thought there was just gonna be a few

It's hard when your a girl & when you like.. pokémon or stuff o_o or even games. Really, some guys just think that her nails are going to break when they play on a DS or something. o_o

But offcourse, there are other guys too xD so meh.
Anyways, there are definitly more boys then girls.. PC has even some 'exclusive gender' sections o_o like the Hacking or ROM forum is mostly used by boys..
