Suggestion: More default font colours

Would it be possible so that instead of being limited to the default colours for text, there could be a box like in the profile colours where we can just type in a hex code to use?

I agree that a larger choice of colours to choose from would be nice, because you don't really get much of a choice. :( Not too sure 'bout the box though, cause I can manually type the colours easily, but just more preset colours would be fine.

I generally don't use colors in my posts because a) there's no point in using them in regular posts and b) when I'm making a thread about something I'm not good enough with CSS to make it so the colors I pick don't look awful on every other font. Correct me if I'm wrong, though, but can't you just [color=#000000][/color] to do hex colors?

Yup, but this way is easier for people who are to lazy to type it out all the time. :3

I see why some people would want this, but frankly I'm often annoyed when I see strange colored text in posts. I don't want to turn off people's custom formatting completely, since it's a way for them to express themselves after all. But some people just pick really annoying colors. I always post with the standard color and formatting (I think).

My point is, less is sometimes better.

So, is there any chance of this being implemented? Beats having to type the [color] tags all the time. And also having to memorise the hex code.

I'd just like to say that the default yellow is awful. Personally I prefer this, which is the colour I now use all the time. It's annoying having to copy-paste the code out of my notepad every time I log on though.

See, thats a problem with colored post. Some users use dark skins, light skins (or a middle skin).
Sure if they put it in css with a colored background, it may be visable to all. but css post everywhere will look kinda bad, no?

I dont really think theres a solution. But on topic, I think more colors would be nice. like not so primary? normal colors. But more off, like that yellow above^ or like a navy blue/sky blue (Yes I know we have this stuff) Im just going on bout nothin'
