Yeah this generation, Pokemon has loved killing pokemon lol. Corsola, Basculegion, and now Zorua lol.

It does make me want to watch the Zoroark movie again. I can't remember the lore, but I remember the bad guys trying to bring it over to Sinnoh, so I wonder if it could be taken as the bad guys in the Zoroark movie, were trying to bring back Hisui Zorua.

Hisuian Zorua/Zoroark might just be my favourite regional forms. I love the typing (not fire-type or dark-type for once!) and their colouration gives me Kitsune mask vibes. Some nice lore as well.

I believe that is the inspiration behind these pokemon. Not only that, but early purchase event, you get a kitsune mask that is called the vengeful mask I believe. But yeah, I am loving the Japanese culture making a pretty big return in pokemon.

Given that I love the Zorua line normally, I'm quite intrigued to see the Hisuian variant and have more details about it. That dex entry just kills me though :( poor floof foxes...
