Celebi or Venasaur imo...

SCEPTILE OWNS EVERYONE IN THIS DEPARTMENT.however in yr situation..use the oddish line until u get to route 44..catch a tangela it will be on a good 23 level but u need to train it to lvl 33 ..teach it ancient power and level it up.There u go ...u now have a grass beast on yr team

Sunkern obv is.

Though um, Bellossom is most powerful imo.

This belongs more in Pokemon Heart Gold & Soul Silver, so I'll move it there. Although, I'm not sure of the validity after it's been moved.

Anyway, It's really up to you. Choose your favourite, catch and raise it. Remember, as long as it's not for competitive battling - there's no real "bad" Pokemon that you can use, so feel free to use any. Oh, and here's a list of grass types in HG/SS.

Attack-Breloom
Defense-Leafeon
Speed-Jumpluff
Sp.Attack-Exeggutor
Sp.Defense-Cradilily
Total-Tangrowth

Which of the following lines would be the strongest?
Bellsprout
Oddish
Hoppip
That is easy. Hoppip is weak, and not good stats. Odddish is a Sp.attacker but low on speed.<--I think.
But Bellsprout is the boss of oddish and Hoppip.
*If you can trade over a Rosellia,--that would be the Boss of Bellsprout,Torterra I would pick but you would need to trade or cheat*

Well in all honesty there's plenty of advice about grass types to take on there. =P That and team help threads aren't really allowed here anyways but I'm sure you'll be able to make do with what's here. =P (Anything levelled up enough should be decent though - except maybe Sunkern if you don't evolve it =P).
