Most useless abilities?

Truant and Sturdy are imo the useless ones. Truant actually doesn't do anything and Sturdy... generally, nothing's gonna OHKO move you.
 
Forewarn I've seen as stupid. Klutz, Magnet pull (Especially in fire red/leaf green), Stench, run away, Damp I never understood is it the opponent that needs to blowup? Anticipation, Color change More of a novelty its screwed me over a couple of times, Gluttony, Honey gather another novelty, Illuminate, Mold breaker another one I don't understand, Wonder guard novelty can be useful I mean its only got one user.

A lot of those you said are really usefull in battle.
 
EXTREMELY USELESS:
I swear you cant beat this one for uselessness
Plus - Plusle
Minus - Minun
I mean, come on, they only work if youre fighting a Minun or Plusle (respectively)

Plus/Minus (you have to use two Pokemon of the same type, who are both equally weak, to make them useful)
Truant
Slow Start
Sturdy (since OHKO moves are rare if they're even allowed in tournament/competitive play)
Color Change (makes Kecleon VERY difficult to use)

I've actually found Run Away quite useful when you need to EV train in areas with Pokemon that don't contribute to the EV's you want. You can just tell 'em, "mell ya later!"
 
Slow Start, Truant, Stall (srsly wtf?), Run Away, Stench

are ALL horrible. Sticky Hold is good for battling and preventing trickers, Klutz is good so you aren't affected by a bad item in like the battle tower (see: Flame/Toxic Orb, lagging tail, etc) and Soundproof isn't that bad since lots of pokemon like to spam growl, screech etc in game and its p annoying. Dry Skin is fun. Makes water type gym leaders go "GRRRRRRRRRRRR!" and its good for battling.

But honestly, WHY do we have Stall? What a bad ability.

Soundproof isn't that bad since lots of pokemon like to spam growl, screech etc in game and its p annoying.
Soundproof is also useful for people who chain, like me. Say you're chaining Houndoom.
It has Roar.. so Soundproof will be extremely helpful to prevent your chain from being destroyed, or preventing a shiny from Roaring you away.

Truant is useless to me.

What is the most useless pokemon ability in a battle you can think of? My top 10 are
1.Klutz
u could switcheroo like, an iron ball to a flying opponent:D


Dry Skin gets in my nerves. Dry Skin is useless
I love dry skin, ive set up a toxicroak with a rain dancing luminion with surf:D it works perfecly:D

I think Stall is pretty useless, unless you want to go last.

Truant is really useless. Why would you want a Pokemon that only moves every other turn? I can understand competative play with Skill Swap or something, but otherwise, it's just useless.

Anything that prevents One Hit KOs is useless in competative play unless OHKOs are allowed.

Huge Power isn't very good because it's nullified if abilities are swapped.
 
Magnet Pull Is Really Annoying.I'm Walking Up To Spear Pillar Ready For All The Team Galactic People To Appear.A Wild Level 37 Nosepass Appeared!The Wild Nosepasses Magnet Pull Prevents Escape! Wastes Some PP.And It Can Really Add Up,Too
 
Actually, I really like Run Away. It's good whenever you're being jumped by wild Pokemon every two seconds, and you're already using a Repel and a Cleanse Tag.

But I don't like the starter abilities... If you're a water type Pokemon, why do you need a move to make your water attacks even stronger? It just doesn't make sense... It's not like it makes that much difference anyway. I would have preferred for my starter to have an actually useful ability.
 
All the starter pokemon should have these abilities.

Water: Water absorb
Fire: Flash fire
Grass: Fertilizer absorb?
 
I think there is no ability worse than Stall. Ugh....

I completely agree with you (except the Fertilizer Absorb thing...maybe Chlorophyll?)

I really don't like Torrent, Blaze and Overgrow. The Pokemon that have them never have their HP drop to 1/3 with me unless they're at a really low level. And even at that level, they don't know any useful moves of their type.

Also, I don't like Stench. And Pressure is such a pain to me ;-;

4.Dry skin(Water Attacks and Rain= HP gain)

5.Gluttony (Activate Stat boost berries earlier)

6.Truant

7.Stall

8.Forecast(Changes type with the weather)

9.Sound proof (Roar/Perish Song/Heal Bell/Bug Buzz= Unaffected)

10.Sticky(knock off=Unaffected which means you will still have your item)

by this you obviously don't play competitively
