    Pok?mon 2000, featuring Lugia, in my opinon, was the best movie. I liked the concept, and how Misty was there for Ash. I also enjoyed the unity of Ash and his Pok?mon.
     
    Mewtwo vs. Mew is not only my favorite Pokemon film, it's my favorite film period. As a Pokemon nut I love it, but that's not the only reason. It teaches excellent themes, like the value and uniqueness of each life, the value of friendship, and how horrible fighting is. A person on another forum I visit once said that the war in Mewtwo's battle field is a metaphor of wars like WW2. War and fighting are terrible things and the film illustrates that well. It isn't until a life is lost (Satoshi) that the Pokemon come to their senses. And there's my favorite movie scene ever. It's also the only scene in a movie that always makes me cry. Think about the concept. The Pokemon realize what they have done wrong and they mourn for the life lost. Pikachu is especially upset, having just lost his best friend and life-long companion. But when the Pokemon cry for Satoshi, their tears bring him back (I always see this as God heard their cries of sorrow and restored Satoshi, hence the great light shining down around him). Then Mewtwo finally realizes the bond between a Pokemon and its trainer. And there's my favorite movie line ever.
    "The human sacrificed himself to save the Pokemon. I pitted myself against them. But not until they set aside their differences did I see the true power that they all share deep inside. I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life, that determines who you are."
    This movie is just incredible. That's the best way I can probably describe it. It's a very entertaining, and emotionally moving film.
     
    I agree that that was probably the saddest thing in pokemon I've ever seen.

    I thought that Mewtwo wouldn't even give a crap about Ash. I knew that Mew was going to though.
     
    After he gave his life to save the Pokemon and stop the fighting, you would think something would click. Mewtwo wasn't even truly evil, he was just angry and misunderstood the human and Pokemon races and the concept of life. You can't blame him after what he went through.
     
    I'm going with kaga it had more story and action then the other 4 put in one well expect for movie 3 that's my second favorite. I think movie 7 might change it all though.

    My two favorites would probably be Pok?mon Heroes, and Pok?mon the Movie 2000. I liked Bianca on Pok?mon Heroes; she was a lot like me, especially because we're both artists. I liked Lugia on the second movie, and Articuno too. But every single one of the Pok?mon movies are great, in my opinion, so it's hard to choose!
     
    I've only seen the first two...after that, I found the movies immature.

    of those two, I liked the first one better, although I can't remember much of the second one.
     
    My first place has to be a tie between the first one and Pokemon 4Ever

    Umm I really dont have to say why I like the first... cuz Jeikobu basically gave a summary for its awesomeness...

    But Pokemon 4Ever was great. There were more fist-fighty action than any of the previous, and Celebi's evil form is just awesome. The past-present concept and Sammy being Professor Oak is cool too, although 4Kids made it too obvious. It had one of the best bad guys... and a very sad moment that brought tears to my eyes... much like the first. What made it even sadder was the peaceful moments they showed that built personality and friendship between Celebi, Ash, and Sammy. Not to mention the awesome detail put into the first scene with Celebi, Scyther, and Houndoom. Its a great movie, but I still wonder if the 6th or 7th movie can top it... the 7th looks phenomenal (sp?) .

    So here's my list in order of best to worst..
    1. Pokemon: The First Movie and Pokemon 4Ever (tie)
    2. Pokemon The Movie 2000 and Pokemon the Movie 3 (tie also)
    3. Pokemon Heroes

    Yeah I got a lot of ties... Pokemon Heroes just didn't have enough action and mystery to it... and the main enemies for it were pretty lame.. although the scene with the huge tidal wave.. and the original japanese song in the bg in the Sight-Sharing scene were great. I also think Latias and Latios's voices got kinda annoying...

    All are good though..

    I guess my full order would be (Pokemon 6 and 7 are my predictions):
    1. Pokemon: The First Movie
    2. Pokemon Heroes
    3. Pokemon 6
    4. Pokemon 7
    5. Pokemon 3
    6. Pokemon Mewtwo Returns
    7. Pokemon 4ever
    8. Pokemon 2000

    That's probably the best I can do. ^^;
     
    All movies were great... but I really loved the second movie (Lugia).. ahhh, I can't decide, I like all of them XD
     
    Well that was one hell of a bump. Yeah, don't post in threads older than a month with no new posts.
