Beat Whitney and got the Plain Badge then made my way to Ecruteak City.

My Parasee evolved as I was training my team.

I beat Morty and got the Fog Badge.

Since I have surf now, I was able to surf through Union Cave and catch a Natu outside the Ruins of Alph. I nicknamed the Natu Xatee

I trained my team when I was on my way to Olivine and Cianwood City. My Xatee evolved into Xatu.

Now I'm currently training for Chuck's gym battle.

- Time ran out.

Well I have been watching this thread and I was inspired to finish what I had started before. I searched for my save file (I was doing this with an emulator) and when I found it, I realized that I was half-way through Victory Road with a team in the low to mid 40's. So I spent a large portion of the weekend training everybody up to decent levels and adjusting movesets and whatnot so that I would stand a chance against the Elite Four. And today I brought my GBA-SP to school with me and, with a sizable crowd of onlookers, I battled my (or should I say our?) way through the Elite Four. Here's a shot of my team after beating the champion:
