We've been there. Multiplayer offers a different extension into the world we love by pitting us with/against actual people. And because of that, we both love it and hate it. What are the things you can't stand about multiplayer, in any game?

For me, I hate lousy, unhelpful teammates. I rock TLoU multiplayer a lot, and despite its glitchiness, I love it. Unfortunately, if I'm not playing with my friends, I'm stuck with a bunch of randoms who don't realize that sticking together is actually a good thing, and that protecting/reviving a downed teammate is crucial. They also don't seem to understand how to watch someone else's back, or how to shoot someone, or how to not die. >.> Y'know, stuff they should know.

People who play their music over multiplayer matches. Listen, I'm sure you are a top-notch Justin Bieber fan, but there's absolutely no reason to be blasting your scratchy music over the connection for everyone to hear. Thankfully there's a little golden invention called "the mute button," otherwise I think I'd go insane.

Multiplayer is my pet peeve. Me? Play a game with other people? Never.

Pretty much just multiplayer in general. It's hard to find a match where there's no one ♥♥♥♥♥ing. Either someone's crying about a mistake a teammate made or just being a plain drama queen. Some people take gaming way to seriously, which isn't a bad thing, but don't get pissed when you run into casual players when you join a freakin' random match.

    Team games? hahahahaAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA nope.

1v1 or riot to me, teamgames always end up in misery.

People who can't strategise. I'M SPAMMING MY SELECT BUTTON SO YOU CAN CAPTURE C, YOU FOOLS.

That's probably why I don't play Battlefield games unless I'm playing with friends who can mic chat with me. I absolutely can't stand random players, as they don't know what the heck they're doing and run around with M16s all day. Always gotta squad up with either people from an online community (like here~) or with friends from school or something along those lines.

~ Hearing the voice of "your mom" over headset (dinner, time for bed)
    ~ mouth-breathing
~ getting called "dude" or "bro-bro"
    ~ Xbox player reviews

People who get too serious in friendly matches or too laid-back in serious matches. Almost all kids, most Brazilians, most Russians, and about one in ten women. Anyone who starts bringing up politics or something. People who keep their mic on when crap is happening in the background. People who excessively monologue. Also: jerks.

None of this really bothers me too much, though. It can just get somewhat annoying. Luckily, most games have the option to mute on a per-player basis.

    Lets see...

    • Trolls.
    • Pretty much every video games fanbase which mainly consists of racist, sexist, and generally rude people.
    • People who join a match and then go AFK for 2 hours.
    • People who jump in a round and then leave when they die.
    • People who play music over matches.
    • People who hoard weapons and ammunition.
    • While it hasn't happened to me personally, people who take advantage of bugs to give them an edge because they don't want to play fair.
    • Personally "Noobs" don't bother me. But it does bother me whenever people insult and are generally cruel to newbies. They really aren't that knowlegeable or skilled at the game yet; so they really can't help the fact that they suck.
    • People who can't strategise to save their life. I'm not talking about newbies here, I'm talking about people who won't listen to their teammates and end up costing the match.
    • Mouth Breathing.
    • ECT.
This is why I like to stay away from online in most games.

People who used racial slurs. RE5 is what I'm cutting my eyes at. I was in a co-op mode online and stuck with a random player that happen to be in a party with his friends. You know the secondary player in Resident Evil 5 is a woman of African Decent. The guy n his friend keep dropping the N word every few seconds. When I finally got my mic plug in they found out one I was girl and two I was black. Fun to say they discounted but one last word which was the N word.

also annoying to game late at night with a friend you may or may not interact with much
due to time zones... then this friend keeps saying "one more... just one more"

then you don't sleep aka have a grumpy day

    Multiplayer peeves... hm... people.
    I want aliens.

The only game I play that I ever go online with is pokémon, which from what I know is less annoying than other games but there still two things that bother me:

-Legendaries not being banned from battlespot like they were in gen 5

-People who shut the power off the second their last pokémon goes down. This one is only mildly annoying compared to the first one

People who don't familiarize themselves with the game first before hopping into multiplayer matches. They slow your team down and act as a broken leg with their incompetence leaving the rest of the team to carry them. Please check out the single player game first or play the tutorial if its available for goodness sake. I mean yeah they're new but please learn what the keys/buttons do at least...

Specifically a pet peeve of mind and maybe for most others are campers.... hate hate hate!! And yesterday in CS:GO there was a random that would not strategically save in some rounds and didn't understand any call-outs. Mind you, this was in competitive.
