If you like their current music, I suggest you listen to Achtung Baby. Critics say that it's their best album of the 90s decade... possibly their best album ever...even pitted against The Joshua Tree which is U2's best album of the 80s decade. But it's all up to taste. I prefer War (it's more like a post-punk/rock album) over Joshua Tree. But Achtung Baby is always at the top of my list. ;)

It seems like Metallica is getting to "old" for young people.And they're my favorite band.Am I alone here.Is there anybody besides me who likes Metallica?

Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam are all in their mid 40s... ...to me, I think Adam looked too old for his age. Edge doesn't look that old except for his bald spot... Bono's hairline is getting a bit far on his forehead... and Larry looks ten year younger...

wow, you don't all have that many CDs... i have around 3000 songs on my computer, almost all of which come from CDs. i like all kinds of music, but only the best from each genre. i awknowledge that even though in general, pop-punk and rap are weak types of music, there is still talent there. my favorite kinds of music are indierock and ska. my favorite bands are the apes, streetlight manifesto, and les savy fav. now you know. if anybody ever wants to listen to a good song of any genre, i'd be glad to give you one.

Oh yeah, the band is 25 years old...XD

They were formerly known as "The Hype" when they can't still play musical instruments and Edge's brotherhelped them out. But when they got a contract for Island Records, Edge's brother left the band and they renamed theselves as "U2" ... yeah... I think it's after a spy plane...XD

Sometimes YOu Can't Make It On Your Own is one of my favorite songs from their latest album. I just hope they make a single for Miracle Drug, which is my personal favorite in their latest album... ^__^
