    I grabbed my avatar as a jpeg from a game I really like, but I wanted to make sure I'm not going to get annihilated for copyright
    or anything like that.
     
    There shouldn't be any problem really. As I understand it official images are usually fair game and it's more that using fanart without permission that you have think about, and even then it's like.....it's someone's avatar on some site, few people are going to make a point of hassling someone over it if they're even aware of it.
     
    Cool, I just wanted to make sure.
