Hello people! I thought i'd share some ideas and some features to my hack i'm currently working on.
As of right now, I haven't really made much design in the overworld yet. And my rom is extremly simple and I plan to focus expanding the post-game for Fire Red. I'm extremly bad at scripting too, so don't expect anything to big. I've mostly been using PKSVUI to guide me and assist me to make pkmn battles and normal talk scripts. Movement scripts I have no idea how to create, so as of right now i'm only using fadescreen scripts instead of moving scripts.
    FADEOUT_BLACK
    disappear LASTTALKED
    fadescreen FADEIN_BLACK
And i've been using them very simpe. I also learnt how to use setflag and clearflag. Although I would be greatful if i could learn how to:
Talk to a person, no trainer-ingage music then battle them, then make them automatically talk to me after the battle. Because as of right now I have to block the path with the person and give them the fadescreen FADEOUT_BLACK
    disappear LASTTALKED
    fadescreen FADEIN_BLACK
script so the player has to talk to them, which I feel is a bit lame.
Also how to change a trainer battle music. I plan to add characters later on and make them trainer's, but when I add them they just have to normal trainer battle music.

    Pokémon
Other thing i've done is to add some new pokémon's. (More will probably be added)
    Rhyperior added.
    Larvesta added.
    Volcarona added.
    Croagunk added.
    Toxicroak added.
    Dusknoir added.
    Weavile added.
    Tynamo added.
Eelektrik added (is now also water)
Eelektross added (is now also water)
    Deino added. (Evolves Earlier)
    Zwelious added. (Evolves Earlier)
    Hydreigon added.
Yanmega added. (Can now learn fly)
    Mismagius added. (Evolves with LV)
    Mamoswine added.
    Spiritomb added.
    Mismagius added.
    Electivire added.
    Shinx added.
    Luxio added.
    Luxray added.
I might have missed some. Now I don't know how to add in new pokémon so I have been replacing some old ones :/
I also added a Dunspacre evolution, altough I won't be revealing him yet. he's currently the only non-existing pokémon in the game, I plan to add other, altough they will only be on a secret island, and you'll be the only ones having them. And they're not overpowered at all. Just a fun thing I did when I was bored.

    Moves
I also added some moves of my own, replacing some old ones (1-hit.KO for and example)
    Energy Crush - 45 Power | 10PP | Lower Opponent's Spe.Def 30% | Accuracy 100
    Frost Nova - 70 Power | 10PP | Lower Opponent's Speed 30% | Accuracy 100
    Aqua Current - 60 Power | 15PP | High Crit Ratio | Accuracy 95
    Fire Pillar - 80 Power | 15PP | May Burn 30% | Accuracy 90
    Chop Up - 50 Power | 20PP | Nothing | Accuracy 100
    Sand Impact - 55 Power | 15PP | Lower Opponent's Accuracy 30% | Accuracy 100
I replaced some move's I thought to be useless or forgotten, if you understand, since I don't know how to add, do the sprites, animations for a new move. Anyway, feel free to tell me if these moves need some changes. I also added these original moves. (replaced old one's)
    Poison Jab
    Night Slash
    Aura Sphere
    Earth Power
    Iron Head
    Dark Pulse
    Dragon Pulse
    X-Scissor
    Discharged
    Mirror Shot
    Big Bite
More might come in the future.

    Basic Stuff
Traders have more interesting offers as of right now.
I have spice'd up the routes, they now look more natural and I will add alternate paths. And post-game I will be adding new areas, although i'm curious, if I add too meny new areas, will other areas get corrupted? That happend to me last time (have to redo every route, trainer etc). Don't know if that's the reason though. No trade evolution's, sun and moon works on eevee, reduced fossil evolution to 30.

Is changing pokemon's type a good idea? Here's some idea's I had. Feel free to leave your opinion or suggest something.
    Furret - Normal-Ground
    Stantler -Normal-Psychic
    Ninetals - Fire-Psychic

I also made water normal-effective to ground (no longer super effective) to help them out a little, since alot of Rock types are Rock/Ground, which means x4 times damage, let me know if this is a good idea. Or make another type resisting something or vice-versa,

So what am I hoping to achieve with this?
Well mainly i'm doing this for fun and I'm developing an interest in rom hacking. The rom itself will still feel like Fire Red, I don't know if i'll change the tilesets, haven't been looking into it so much, so yeah, this is going to be a very simple hack, keep i'n mind that this is my first hack (successful hack). I'm really looking forward to the post-game, I have alot of ideas involving Team-Rocket and other stuff, really excited.

    Current Features
    Difficulty has been increased
    New Pokémon's
    New Area's
Rewamped Area's (feel more natural, interesting)
    Physical/Special Split

(Everything might not be here since I haven't written everything down)

    Leave your thought's people!

OR you can just use a base patch.
So your hack is, you know, modern.

well often most of the patches contain some sort of error... I have heard even the current famouse [MrDS] has some bugs...
so its good to insert by onself until you get some bug-free base...
    ..
and also if you are a learner then its a better idea to do it all by yourself :)

I personally think that the bugs are minor enough to warrant using one, the pluses are much more in quantity than the minuses. The PSS split, new moves, new types, updated movesets, new mechanics and much more that beginner probably can't and shouldn't deal with because of their limited knowledge of basic things such as events and such, let alone ASM and so on. I don't want to sound rude, but the Gen III mechanics have no reason to be in someone's hack. :v

well you might be right about the pluses being more than the minuses but the fact is
that the beginner should try to do all the things by oneself... making a backup of the rom...
because "failure is the pillar of success"

even if you talk about me,
at the first time I started rom hacking I couldn't think about hex editing.. I though it was the hardest thing in rom-hackin...
then I made a backup of the original rom and then saw some hex editing tutorials....
I tried to make the changes then it crashed the whole rom,
again I restored the backup and again did the hex changes..
the process of crashing and restoring of rom continued for many times
and finally within that process I learner the hex-editing...
    .
not only hex editing but I learned almost everything I know about rom-hacking in that way..
    .
there are so many people to help with the problem..
    .
so Why not try doing them by oneself... until there comes an bugless patch or base :)

    .
    .
I am also not being rude... ;) but only putting forward my explanation :) :D

Well, that's good for you, but most people just want to start making progress right off the bat and/or are too intimated/uninterested by the harder parts of hacking. I'm not being rude either, sorry if I sound like it. It's just that the idea of this hack pretty much needs new features because otherwise, it'll be FireRed with some extra things slapped on top.
