Haven't updated this in a while. But I made two PokéMations. (Pokémon Animations). First, I'm gunna put them in this post and then, because of what mangaroll said, I'mma merging them into the first post, along with my PokéChao.

Why are you using the Japanese names?

Anyway, these still lack creativity. Most of them are just cut, copy, and paste or recolors, none of which requires a lot of practice.

You are one a forum where the majority language is English, you are typing in English, most people are reading it in English yet you still insist on using japanese names? If I went to Japan I wouldn't constantly refer to them by their English names. Christ.


3 of the mixes need work on placement as they look too artificial. The Shinx/Eevee one is fine however.

No offense, but why does Naetoru "magically" get a tail...? I mean its tail isn't in the sprite, and suddenly it appears... It's strange! *Overload... ERROR*

I love this one! But looking closely, I find the fin is quite misplaced. I advise you to put it nearer to the left.

Some of the "body-parts-taken-away" look quite good, cuz you had to scratch the parts. Especially the Zenigame. Let's just say it shows the talent of the spriter, okiez?

It looks strange when you look at it like that, but when you zoom in, it looks... good! I mean it looks proportional! But when you look at it without zooming, or whatever, it looks strange!

Your recolors could need a bit more work.
No offense but in almost all of recolors on your first post's outline was messed up when you recolored them.

Your devamps are really good for a beginner.
Although i'm not liking the Arbok very much either. You could add a little highlight on it's head to make it better. :D

Your revamp is really good too. :D

Your blue Pikachu recolor is really good. :D
I don't see any messed up outlines.
Here's a tip when doing recolors, don't use the default MS Paint colors.

Your battle scenes are pretty good too and your chaos are really cute. :3

I agree, the Eevee+Shinx is too cute. <3
The parts really blend well in your fusions. :D
Knowing how to recolor is really important if you want to sprite, so is knowing how to shade, but that's for more advanced fusions. :D

I'm pretty sure everyone has the liberty to post whatever name they want. Are we allowed to name our own work? Yes. So just let her do what she wants.=p

I don't know what C'est is talking about, these are VERY creative.=p

they don't require effort.

Wow, thanks everyone. =] I really appreciate all of the critiquing I've received and I will definitely keep it in mind when I recolor again, which will be soon because I want to practice my color choosing.

As for the Turtwig sprite, it's tail is wagging, but, since it was my first, it sucks. XDD​

To give some help that could come in handy in the future.

I recommend you add more shadings of the color you use to recolor the specific pokemon.
Let's take Mightyena for example. You colored it pink, correct? I think you should add different shades of pink. Therefore, it would look more like a sprite. Just handing out some constructive criticism. Besides, if the re-color has just 1 shade of that color, it will just look like a solid block of color, and will make the sprite kind of boring. So good luck! I'd like to see more in the future as you progress through.

Out of curiosity, how did you animate the Turtwig and Pichu?

Oh, and I use the English names only because I don't know the Japanese ones.
