My Laptop's Disk Drive Won't Close.

    I'd like to play The Sims 3, but I can't close the disk drive on my
    laptop. This problem only came up recently, though. I wasn't able to
    play any other games, because a notification that was meant to come up,
    didn't. Can somebody help me please?

    You can't close it? Does it not shut or doesn't it stay shut? Check there's nothing jammed inside.
     
    Try taking it to the store you bought it from (or a nearby store that deals with computers) and ask them if they have any idea.

    And I don't know what kind of computer you have, but it's possible that the button is stuck and that's why it keeps popping out. Make sure the button isn't stuck.

    Other than that, I have no idea.
     
    Bruteforce it by blocking it with ducktape ;D. Why not if it works?
