    Okay, so I used this site to see what my name means.

    It's origin is Greek and it means "defender of men", lol. XD.

    Alexandros or Alexandra is were alex comes from and I can tell you that it is indeed greek. But defender of men I had no idea.
    According you your site my shortened name is who is like god. My proper name is is meant as the follower of Demeter the Greek God of Wine. Yep. This is the site I use by the way:

    The origin of mine is Hebrew and it means to "Descend; flow down".

    According to the site L O L L I P O P linked, my name means "Rival; emulating" and it's Latin. However, as far as I have been aware my name actually means "hard working, honest, caring." Soo.. I don't actually know which one is exactly correct. XD; Unless it's both, I'm not sure.
