My (short) intro!

    Hi hi hi there! I am NuzzleStatic and I came here since I missed chatting on forums like Pokecharms and Pokeheroes and I found they aren't as active as they used to be. Since this place seemed active enough, I wanted to give it a go!

    I am very interested into looking at the forum rps that might be going on and maybe join one or two, though I haven't rped properly in a few years so I might be a bit hesitant before I try.

    Pokemon has been my most favorite thing since I was around 6 years old ever since I saw my other sister's collection of cards. I became obsessed with them and my parents tried to keep me away from pokemon for years until I finally was able to give Pokepark and then White 2 a try. Never stopped playing since.

    I hope I can get along with the rest of you!

    I would give you a hug but I don't have a Paralyze Heal on me right now! ^^
    Don't worry, what matters is to have fun roleplaying and we have time to prepare posts, be they solo or joint!
    We have the Roleplay theatre section where users suggest / join RPs, and the Roleplay stage section where they start! I love to RP as well. Usually as a Gardevoir! ^^
    Which kind of character do you especially like to roleplay ?
    I, for one, am always up for new friends!

    I did notice those sections and I really hope I could join them sometime. I think it is easier for me to rp in a group and specifically on a forum since it is slow and more chill than discord where you can see if someone is typing or not and see their reply instantly.
    Honestly, I am all over the place in terms of characters I roleplay. Generally I like to roleplay as pokemon the most and they generally vary when it comes to personality. I generally like to figure out the character as I go along since trying to plan too much ahead can put too much pressure on me to stick to it.
    I hope we can be friends as well! I haven't made any new friends in a few years due to my anxiety and fragile social battery but I am hoping to work around it!

    I do, I've been rping for a decade so I've collected a lot of memories. When I started rping, I roleplayed as an Arcticuno who regularly got hit by fire attacks and due to this, their feathers melted (since they were made of ice in the rp), leaving them a flightless bird that looked a lot less regal until their feathers grew back.

    I don't know why, but the mental image I get from this is 'a roasted chicken with an Articuno's head and feet', and that's too funny an image to not share lol. :wynaut-laugh:
    On a more serious note, that sounds like a fun concept for a character. Makes me wish actual Pokemon games had dynamic battle damage like that, but I doubt it'd ever happen.
