My wii suffered its red ring of death.

And people are comparing it to the RRoD. Since it is highly uncommon for the Wii to die like that.

Calvo, if you got nothing to add to the thread other then "You guys are wrong. lololololololololol" then don't post at all. It's what we call "spam", and it's pointless, so don't do it again.
 
People have said it may have to do with the power supply. I'm not saying they're right or wrong, but it's worth trying to borrow another power supply to test with it. If it works, then you might only be spending around $32 AUD. You can convert that, but it's worth a look.

Some video game shops also do in-house repairs, which could be cheaper than going to Nintendo.

Well it could be the power supply. I'll try it. If not then I guess I should wait for a black Wii.
 
hmmmmmm... i play my wii sidewayse *the wii on its side* so depending on the possiton the wii is currently in can affect the problem
