Hey, I was playing FireRed(In computer), and I was just having fun with those Walking-Through-The-Walls cheat...And I came to the S.S the Ship, and I was walking through the seas 'around' the ship when I came to this strange flatform and a truck.

It's in the middle of the sea and there is no pokemon, no person, no item, nothing nearby.

I never heard about this truck anywhere, even though I heard rumours when I was playing 'Old' Red-that there was a truck that if you push it with Strength, a Mew will come out and I thought it was just a silly joke...But now I really found it, and I'm so curious, why is this truck there?

Is it just me, or is this truck thing a fact that everyboby knows?

    Does anyone know?

How to get to the truck-
Go to the place where you can see the ship just before you enter it. Either have a pokemon with surf by trading and swim into the sea(Gameboy) or use a cheat in Computer. Either, you have to do it BEFORE the S.S leaves because after the ship leaves, the link is closed and you can't go back in (I think).

what he said, it's just a thing nintendo added in. how do you do the walking-through-walls cheat? i'd like to know.

There has allready been a thread like this one.. Discussion, discussion etc and we dicided that it's just there for fun :P Nothing more

Another Fun Fact: If you continue walking along the road where the truck is and use the Itemfinder at the end of the path, you can find a Lava Cookie.

yeah the truck was just a thing that they forgot to edit.

In the japanese R/B/Y, you could get Mew under the truck. When the american versions of R/B/Y came out, they didn't want to put mew in there, so they took it out, but forgot about the truck. When Lg/Fr came out, they wanted the games to have a very close layout to R/B/Y, so they added the truck. Of course you can't get mew from there anymore, but it's still neat.

I was trying to get to the truck in my Japanese yellow version, but I havent played it in a while, bad graphics and all.

Get a friend to trade over to you a Pokemon that knows cut. Beat Lt. Surge and continue on with the game without gonig to the SS Anne. Then once you have Surf, come back and enter the dock where the SS Anne is. Surf to the right and you'll get there.

can you gie me a picture of the truck

also to get to the truck (i always used this trick in yellow), make sure your pokemon are weak (but still strong enough to beat your rival) and after talking to the captain, go through every single trainer on the boat untill all your pokemon faint, don't go back to the ship until you have surf and you'll be able to explore that area because the boat wont leave until you go onto it again (it was a little glitch). I havent done this but if some of its more obvious qualities are like red/blue/yellow (which they are) it should be there

why most nintendo play with trainers like us I mean come on what is the point of the truck if there is no mew. Does anyone know why they decided to take it out.

I think the truck, in the older version, might have gone where that dude in Vermillion City where that dude was building that house but then they decided to take it out but then just threw it out where they THOUGHT no one would find it but ppl died on ss anne after gettin cut went back and found it.

Please do not revive old topics like this Archaic Adept. There is a more recent topic on this as well so you had no need to revive this thread.
