Is Serebii the only website that tells about the sweet new Pokemon?
I used to go to a website called -link here- but it kinda closed out.....

lolol, I love these names now lol. At first I hated them, but:

Krickitune - sooo hilarious XD I love this name

Staravia - Excellent

Drifblim - better than Driftblim =_=

Bibarel - woulda fitted as Bidoof's name lol
 
Bunyatto Is Not Ugly

HOW THE *beep* DARE THEY CALL BUNYATTO PURUGLY!!! THAT IS *beep* LAME!! BUNYATTO IS NOT *beep* UGLY!! It may not be the prettiest thing around, but it's definitely not ugly. That is up to the individual's opinion. And even if it is considered ugly by some, the name in itself is horrible.

"Congratulations! Your Glameow evolved into Purugly!" *beats up DS* >_< :17:

And Infernape sucks as a name. In for snape? In for nap? LAME. LAME. LAME.

The rest could be better, but whatever. They'll do.
 
Purugly, ugly name for an ugly Pokemon, well not that ugly, looks like an old royal cat. I agree with Forest Grovyle on the Plumpurr and Gibburn, you should work for Nintendo of America... Anyway where did the 'Plup' comefrom in the names, like when something hits water? I hope Pachirisu keeps its name, it had better do.
 
The weirdest name that they annonuced was "Purugly". Well the cat is ugly so the name goes great with it. But I'm not sure if it is pronounced as Pur and then ugly, if so that will be easy to get use to

That name would just fly over young player's heads. Squirolt sounds much better.
 
Turtwig = Stupid
Grotle = Sounds like a disease... (I just got the Grotles...ewwwww)
Torterra = tortilla :D I'm naming mine "Tex-Mex :P"
Chimchar = Monkey-fied version of Charmander
Monferno = Predictable
Infernape = They shoulda called him something related to the Monkey King legend instead...
Piplup = I don't get it
Prinplup = SOOOO hard to say...DOES NOT feel nice to say
Empoleon = Badass
Starly = Cute...
Staravia = Cool. Pokemon USA did good here
Staraptor = Kids are gonna think it's a dinosaur. (A raptor's a "bird of prey," a kind of hawk)
Bidoof = Stupid name for a stupid-looking Pokemon.
Bibarel = Hard to sell...
Kricketot = Eh...could be worse. I won't bother to train one past it's evo, of course.
Kricketune = OK. Makes sense.
Budew = Kinda stupid. Sucks that it levels at level 30 tho...
Roserade = Gonna be on my team. Naming it "Phantom" tho...
Shieldon = OK. I can take it.
Pachrisu = I can deal. They used the Japanese name, basically. I won't use it tho.
Buizel/Flotzel = I like them.
Cherrim = If it had Synthesis, I'd care >.<
Shellos = Could be worse...
Drifblim = I'll take it.
Buneary = I don't get it. I think Mimilop is cuter.
Glameow = It's grown on me.
Purugly = I'll say it's fat...but it's not ugly! It's..."Garfield fat," fat but cool nonetheless. Not UGLY
Stunky = Better than it's Japanese name for once.
Skuntank = Same as Japanese name. I like the exploding skunk tho...:D
Bonsly = I'm still gonna call it (BON-SLEE)
Mime Jr. = We wouldn't have this problem if Pokemon USA didn't call "Barried" MR. MIME...I like it tho. Looks like a sundae.
Happiny = I'll take it.
Chatot = Perap was cooler sounding.
Lucario = I like it. It's GOING on my team.
Skorupi = Sounds like a mangled Romanji translation. Scorpi sounds more English-y.
Croagunk = I like Greggle more. Sounds like "giggle."
Carnivine = VERY predictable. I just think it's a bad rip-off of Victreebel. A bug-trap Pokemon weak against bugs? I don't get it.
Mantyke = I'm not gonna use it. Pretty predictable.
Weavile = I like her. Gonna be awesome in the D/P metagame.
Electivire = Kinda stupid. Elekible's stupid too. Luckily he's an awesome Pokemon nonetheless.
Dialga/Palkia = People whine about names that are supposed to be as such. Dialga sounds better than Dairuga anyway. Palkia's cool too. No weaknesses except Dragon :D
Manaphy = Same as Japanese. He's cute. Phione looks like Manaphy dropped on its head, however...

Well it is a ugly Cat Type Pokemon,>_> anyway I agreed with members of PC.I don't get Pochama English Name is a little catchy but really stupid.

Hehe purugly... good name right there. I'm surprised its cry isn't "AH ATE A BABEH" . I'm naming mine Blobzilla. By far my favourite name is Infernape . It rolls off the tongue and stays on topic. Grotle sounds a little like grotto ( A cave) so it stays with the Earth theme . By far the worst is Bibarel . Aren't english names supposed to be easier to pronounce than the japanese? I could think of a bunch of new names : Bifluff ( it's fur looks really curly and fluffy) , Beafur , Loggar (beavers eat trees and use logs). And does anyone else think stunky in just uncreative ? Here are some of my names for it: Skunpoo , Farpoo (Fart and poo) . Anyways I like most of them and torterra does not remind me of a tortilla.
 
Y'all obviously don't know crap about names. Even if Bunyatto was ugly (which it ain't), the name in itself "Purugly" sounds horrible. And I can't even freakin' say it. "Purr-oh-glee?" "Poor-oglee"?

I am NEVER, EVER using that name. Could Nintendo get any stupider? Gawd.

prinplup isnt all that bad
empolean is okay

Anyaway, Magmortar... the worst name in the whole entire world. More imaginative than Magburn but come one. Why not Magtar? or Magburn... Pathetinc. I hate all the legendaries anyway so that dosen't bother me... Oh well just names... Discuss
 
I got used to all the names so what there just names I have the Japanese version, Ok the only reason Nintendo is even Changing the names is because they think there selling to 7 year olds when really there selling it to 12+
 
I don't really like Purugly as a name, I think I'm gonna use a Everstone on my Glameow if I put it in my team. Purugly sounds like "Ur ugly" ("You're ugly") :)
Starly is a cute name while the names of his evos are bad (Mukkuhawk sounds much better than Staraptor and the same for Mukkubird), Turtwig is a good name, Piplup and Chimchar are too.
Chatot isn't as good as Perap (I'm asociating the name with the French word for "castle", "château" (pronounciation is similar). Roserade is a cool name :)
Muchlax and Lucario are among the best names and I hope they keep the Japanese name for its pre-evo.
My 2 cents ;)
