I don't really mind the dubs much. Seeing it in your native tongue is nice, that way you don't have to read subtitles and watch the show at the same time.

I agree, dubs aren't always bad. It's just that often it isn't done probably, so I prefer subs.

Anyway.
Current eps are rather awesome. They've made me forget about those fillers in an instant.

The Naruto dub is what started me on the series in the first place, and it was also a huge part of my childhood (RIP Toonami ;_;). The dub will always have a special place in my heart. :D

Yeah, current episodes are awesome. The fillers weren't that bad, but some of them were kind of...eh.

Sigh, no Jump Manga this week. At least there wasn't much exciting things going on to leave us with a cliff hanger. I will probably watch the EP later, Kage Summit stuff is made of win.

I really hope they do this arc justice. As in, I wanna see Sasuke get his ass kicked (again), then Danzo get what he deserves, etc.

It seemed to me by today's episode that they will do this arc justice in terms of production value ect.

Also, although i don't really like Sasuke and i think his character archetype is overdone i'm loving his transition to "Chaotic evil" more than i did in the manga.

Me and the older membes are keeping this alive. That is more that I can say what they are doing for the Seven Swordsmen fight. After Kakashi takes out Zabuza and Haku(if I remember that going down that way) he was going to go beast mode then they went to something else.

As for this chapter...

I am glad to see Choji get some character developement, even though in the past I was saying I wish they would hurry this up. I am happy though that they give him some developement, and show Asuma and Kurenai kid along with Kurenai herself. Also seems too be Sarutobi Clan as one of the more prominent Clans since they give the three clans their earrings. Not to mention they have Hiruzen(said to be the strongest Shinobi ever, thus earning the Title God of Shinobi. And of course Hokage). Asuma who is one of the twelve guardians. Konohamaru who already learned the Rasengan at such an young age. If they do a time skip I would be very interested to see Konohamaru and his cousin.

I mean its a war and they are outnumber; someone has to die eventually, no?

I assume you mean secondary characters? Since we already had a bunch of ninja get killed already. The closest we have got to a secondary character dieing is Anko if you want to call her that seen we rarely see her) not to mention I don't believe she is dead yet?

I was never really a big fan of Sakura in the first place. Outside of Chiyo using her as a puppet against Sasori what has she done? I loved how Naruto need she was fake from the beginning. Kisame is going BEAST MODE next episode.

Was it me or did that transformation make Choji look older? I loved how Bee was all "He will find out eventually". Waiting to see how Naruto will act when he finds out about the war everyone else is fighting.

That is about it, I just found her a lot less annoying less after the time skip for some reason. This part killed that even more than it did in the manga somehow. Oh well.

yeah I mean the secondary characters and no I don't think Anko is dead (yet)
With all the epic summons at least someone bigger then random background ninja should die...

He did looked different, but that's more because the transformation was making him loose weight in an instant.

Which one is that? There are quite some awesome scenes coming up :)
The manga is also picking up the pace :P

Sakura was less annoying because she became less useless; her power and medical skills made her somewhat valuable to the team.
