Need help changing an existing hack rom

So im playing pokemon unbound .. i really dont like the scale thing on gyms. In vanilla mode (the easiest difficult mode) they are too much low level, for example i am at second gym and i have 6 pokemon level 25-30 and pokemon of the gym are 21-23 and they are just 3.. its too much easy. In difficult mode (the second difficult mode), the second choice, pokemon are at level 25-27, and i think that is what i want. I dont want something too much impossible, or something too much easy, i need something normal ..

The problem on the difficult mode is that it has pokemon scaling level in every gym, and so every pokemon in that gym get the level of your highest leveled pokemon and i dont want this, so the levels 25-27 i told you before was just the minimum level they can be found.
With this thing it seems like you never can be stronger that those gyms.

So i thought i could change this option, maybe using some program that can change and remove this scaled levels on gyms.

Anyone can help me? I really dont know anything about it ..

I already told you this on Reddit as well. The game is mostly built up with C-injections and is heavily altered compared to vanilla Fire Red, which makes it very hard to edit with the available tools. Having set levels instead of level scaling would need a quite large modification to the ROM. You'd need to know where the function is located that does the level scaling. Pretty much the only chance you have is contacting the original creator. There is probably no simple solution to accomplish this.

the game has scaling because its meant to be a challenging game. i.e why it has a 3rd mode, "insanity mode" if you want a slight challenge and to be able to out level enemies, just play easy mode, and don't grind so much before you get to the gym.

Otherwise I'd say this game is just not for you.
