can anyone give me some different options for names for the fire starter? because i don't think the last evo name suits it anymore, to be honest.... i like the first 2 names, though...

Hi, these are really cute! I don't have name suggestions atm but hopefully you'll be able to decide 👍 But I'm curious, you didn't draw all of these yourself, right? It seems to me like some of these are from TV shows/animations, it's especially obvious for certain ones since they have videoplay menus on them. Were they just things that inspired you?

Just want to make sure since it sounds like you're saying they belong to you when they clearly don't. If they are just inspirations, please do edit that into your thread so it's more clear they're not your works! Thanks. =)

i did draw the pokemon... but yes, i guess some of them are inspirations

Having a good description of what they do, what they're based on, and other flavor information like that helps a lot with coming up with names. I'd suggest leaving behind some meaningful data like that to ease into finding a name that truly fits the designs.

I am curious about the origins of many of them though. It seems like you just lifted them from other media, especially the one that has the youtube player visible in the image. You mentioned you drew them all, and were simply inspired by the original source. However, I think it's a bit too close to their inspirations and could do with a lot more differences to make it truly feel like it's own thing.

Right now I find it very hard to come up with names because of those two issues. The first gives me no direction to go with and the other makes it morally hard for me to simply name a creature that already seems to exist in other media.

i guess that the evo of kyoan diglett is a vole... voles can dig after all...





i'm just not very good at coming up with pokemon species names, sometimes...
