NEED QUICK HELP

    Sorry ik this is a x y forum but I need quick help, is this a good gen 2 team and how can I improve?

    Arcanine flamethrower, extemespeed, dig, bite

    Ampharos thunder punch, thunder, flash, light screen

    Kingdra ice beam, surf, dragon breath, hyper beam

    Espeon psychic, shadow ball, morning sun, hyper beam

    Crobat wing attack, fly, bite, confuse ray

    Machamp earthquake cross chop vital throw strength
     
    Hyper Beam is horrible, especially with Espeon's low Attack stat. You should replace it with Hidden Power or Zap Cannon. You'll never know beforehand what type Hidden Power will be, and Zap Cannon has low accuracy, but at least they're better than Hyper Beam.

    On your Kingdra, you could replace Hyper Beam with something like Toxic or Icy Wind.

    Also, why don't you consider Giga Drain on Crobat?

    Arcanine is pretty garbage in gen2 , use Charizard or Houndoom as these are superior fire types. I like Moltres too but thats just me. The latter two are fantastic Baton Pass Growth receivers from Espeon also.

    Ampharos is ok. Its set isnt though, it should be the following

    ~ Thunderbolt
    ~ Fire Punch
    ~ Thunder Wave
    ~ DynamicPunch / Rest


    Kingdra Rest, surf, Double-Edge, Curse

    Cool set. Mix sweeper kingdra is decent.





    Espeon psychic, shadow ball, morning sun, hyper beam

    See above advice for espeon. Growth/Psychic/Morning Sun/Bite Hiden Power Fire or Baton Pass works.

    Crobat wing attack, fly, bite, confuse ray

    Ew. Id replace this with a sturdy wall that checks Snorlax i.e Tyranitar, Golem or Rhydon.

    Machamp earthquake or Hidden Power [Ghost/Bug] cross chop Rock Slide Fire Blast or Curse

    Ok.



    Lastly your team struggles with Special hits, Snorlax is probably the best option. Curse/Rest/Belly Drum, Lovely Kiss or Fire Blast/Double Edge works best on this. Replace Kingdra as he seems the most replaceable.

    If you find Growth Vaporeons an issue replace Ampharos with Raikou so you can outspeed and beat it.

    Thunder/HP Ice or Crunch/Rest/Sleep Talk is standard Raikou.

    So in short the team line up would be....

    Houndoom/Moltres/Zard
    Tyranitar/Golem/Rhydon
    Snorlax
    Ampharos / Raikou
    Machamp
    Espeon
