  • Hey people, I'm new here, don't mind me and please correct me if I do something wrong!

    I'm making a Pokemon Game, Pokemon Amethyst. It will be a mainly fakemon game. So far, I haven't really gotten far. I'm doing som scrpiting, but I've stopped because I need to fill in spaces for fakemon, or else I can't create battles. I need alot of great spriters, designers (already have 2) and, well... you name them! Well, I gotta go now, I'll have to talk later. Please leave messages!

  • well, of course there's a Pokemon amethyst already, many of the names are taken. hehe. I think I'll later change it to Pokemon Opal.

    What I really need are spriters. I can sprite, but I'm not the best out there.

  • A lot of people are bad spriters, yet they make their games regardless until they get a good spriter on the team.

    I suggest you do the same, don't wait for someone to make them for you :P

    Thanks, that makes me feel determined. The only problem is that I need to add some fakemon to the dex, or else I won't be able to create battles.

    Hmm, maybe I should just work on maps, now?

  • That's your best bet: Add maps, and until you have your fakemon, use real pokemon. Feel free to edit their names, attacks, evolutions... whatever works. Just keep their sprites the same til you have new ones :)

    Maybe you could just make a squares or something just to test the battles with until you can get some actual fakemon. Or just put some original Pokemon in the game to test the battles with. ;o

  • You'll have more luck getting help once you have enough of your own progress made, and when you can show you're not wanting others to do your job for you. (Thus why I took so long to post my thread for Mewtwo Strikes Back, I wanted to make sure I had a sufficient amount completed first xD)
