NetBattle forum?

I've seen some threads about NetBattle in the Game Boy Games section on both the old and new PC. I was wondering, Isn't it time NetBattle got it's own forums?

The strategies forum has pretty much fulfilled that role, since it's mostly for online battling anyways and NB is one of the two preferred methods by which to do that. And giving NB, a program we really don't own its own forum is kinda out of place. But would still like to hear opinions.

This is a hard one. I'm always for a nice new forum, but as Kairi has said, the strategies section is doing a great job covering everyones NB needs.

That is also a good point.

The only reason for having a NB forum I can think of is if someone is having a problem with their NB program... I think most of that is covered on the official NB site anyway.

Another reason would be to organize tournaments, tell people about your server, etc.

Well if u guys can get the rights then i think u should have one
A) to organise tourneys
B) for all mana's stuff
C) discussion on recent finds and trends on NB

However it needs to be modded well as some ppl may ask for team help there and that is something that GB Strategy section is best used for.......


I think it is really a good idea Kairi/Andy/Admins/Mods/frostweaver/S.Mods....

Actually that was going to happen, at one time. They ended up turning us down, but their discussion of it on their forums is how I first found PC. ^_^

My vote is against.

Reason

a) if it is used to organize for tourneys, then how come it was SO DIFFICULT to find even 5 PC members to participate in the Interboard tourney, to the point that we had to shove Kairi down GSC, and I go 202 even though we're both 386 player?

b) like Kairi mentioned, it's not our program, nor does PC really get that interested in it... actually it's just the same 8 players talking about it and the 8 of us made up the whole strategy section pretty much... the 5 tourney players for PC, Mana Lugia, Spike Razzor and Ice Demon.

c) with the new NB section made, the strategy section will be even less used, and really I don't see the difference between the NB section and the strategy section (save for NB free advertisements)

I don't like NB. They banned me for complaining about people insulting me in there.

Most of the time, there's quite a good reason if they insulted you... >_>; most likely due to awkward movesets being one thing or a disconnector. If you don't say anything and don't act stupid/dishonorable, you'll be just fine on NB.

I find NB so awkward but its not what I think about the game...

We dont own the software and its not official so itd be useless, goto there forums if you want to discuss nb =P

Also For the whole 10 members to make tournements XD;?

Indeed i think so gold raikou, but i think that the nintendo company is working on this problem, and they will solve it soon.

netbattle is okay, i play it, but i think with a NB forum, netbattle wont be as interesting because people might reveal various tactics and trends, and with all these information, people can easily create teams that are superior to the ones discussed etc...
