Issue: New avatar limits not applicable to me

Many of us know about the larger avatar limits put in place a month ago, as explained in https://www.pokecommunity.com/posts/8915726/ .

However, on my end, the new size of 360×360 has been applied for profile pictures, but not avatars (my upload prompt still has the old 130×130 sizing).

Perhaps the announcement I linked above actually meant for profile pictures to have the new size? I have seen other ordinary non-supporter, non-staff members have larger avatars than what I'm currently allowed (I know by clicking on some of them.)

I don't know if this is being worked on because of the hacking late last month, or if something was overlooked (maybe the new size for regular members doesn't apply to me since I never was a supporter or staff, and I've been here for so long, and I didn't notice any changes on my end even before the September 26 hacking). Or do the new avatar size limits not apply to "high-seniority" members such as myself (having been here for 10 years now)?

In other words, is the issue I outlined above something that can be looked into, or am I just grasping at straws?

It is definitely affecting regular members and not staff or supporters as far as I'm aware, but it is a result of the huge hacking attack on our forum files and I guess that caused the avatar size to get compressed.

The staff are looking into this so hopefully it will get fixed soon.

.....I'm admittedly a little confused about the whole new size limit thing really.

My Edit Avatar page says that I can have one as big as 720x720.....but I have yet to see anyone use an avatar larger than the old maximum of 200x200 (though normal members are indeed allowed avatars bigger than the old 130x130 now, I've seen a few roughly the size of mine), and whenever I upload one it will always resize into the 180x180 limit that is/was the norm for mods (and Crystal Tier peoples). Profile pics I've always had a very high limit on since I joined staff, and it does display the large size on my profile page. I kinda feel like people are using the terms avatar and profile picture interchangeably, but I make a very clear distinction between the two; the former is the image that displays in the postbit, while the latter only appears on your profile page. So did we just change the limit for regular members, or did y'all mean profile pics when I thought we were talking about avatars or what? And would you really even want someone to have a 720x720 avatar? That would be enormous in the postbit and that's only the 2nd largest size apparently.

So if someone could please clarify that'd be great.
