I'm more puzzled as to why Ash still has a Pikachu. Either evolve it or eat it, duh.

Apparently there's going to be a Wi-Fi event where you can get Ash's Pikachu. If that's the case and it's as strong in-game as it is in the anime, you won't need another Pokemon. :D

Back on topic, Hoothoot/Noctowl sucked.

koromori is awesome. though coming from a bat lover, it is to be expected. XD i just hope he gets an evolution with more teeth.
bit disapointed with mushaana. i really liked munna and i feel that its nose ruined it a bit. I'll still probs use it, i just had high hopes as munna was really awesome. Hopefully there will be a 2nd evolution, then they can make hypno have an evolution and they can be the version exclusive pokemon. XD Though pretty unlikely.
I'm really excited about Black City! That place looks maaaaaaaaaaaaad. Definatelly getting black version. I've always wanted a night city, like a city with heaps of lights at night and all crazy. So yeh definatelly the highlight of this months news corocoro scan!

Hypno is fine as it is, and it's not used enough to be needing an evolution.

If drowzee was a male only pokemon, I'd say munna could be the female version. But there are female drowzees so there goes that thought...

I can agree with you there. As far as I know, the main bird Pokemon of Gen II(if it had one, I don't remember) and III weren't really given as much attention, as far as I know. But when Staraptor came about, I guess things started to change after that. But I see your point that Pidgeot has sorta been that "symbol" for lack of better terms.

And maybe Ash would get Wooguru, who knows? I'm definitely hoping for a change in more ways than just that.

Swellow didnt seem to be overlooked. Its speed is used a lot in Wifi matches and I have seen a Swellow in dozens of teams in RSE.

I agree that it has the potential to be used competitively, but at most it's at least be BL or UU in the least. Wooguru is stone edge, boltbeam, most likely priority(though it depends) and there can be a lot of counters/walls for it in this new OU metagame.

Thats the case for nearly all bird pokemon. Not much you can do to escape that. Even with all that Swellow seems to do just fine on Wifi.

Well it seems Koromori is going to be just like Xatu and Lugia :|

Lets hope Koromori evolves into something better than Xatu.

QUESTION! Why don't people ever take full pictures of Corocoro, or at least ones that aren't at a terrible angle or zoom that we can't see anything in? I'm still dying to find out more about the stuff that isn't shown on camera yet :(

Yeah I have always hated that. We just gotta wait a few days for when the magazine is released to everyone rather than leaked.

Koromori has a single tooth and a hearth shaped-single nostril with no eyes. No. Just.... No. I'm sorry, but i absolutely hate that thing. Then again, I could be wrong. Maybe the nose looking thing is just a really deformed pupil. Either way, I don't care.

The Beaver thing is Epic on the other hand, it's a ground type correct?

And the Larvitar thing is just meh. I can live with it.

Overall, this Gen has been horrible and great at the same time. But things are looking up.

Swellow rapes in UU, but we need a good OU bird Pokemon, but there are few Flying-Type OU/Uber Pokemon since there are so manny common counters for them so it may be unlikely but this Pokemon looks fast and has an interesting ability that gives it potential. But just like the current Meta-game, there are always counters to counter a counter :P

I guess i do have a bit of a boring life but i was talking about this month's corocoro news, relating to the topic.
Also if hypno is not used enough, then it just means its less likely that they can ruin it. So many people complained about electabuzz's and magmar's evolution. If they make a bad hypno evo, then it won't matter as much as it's a pokemon that not many people use or care.

I meant in terms of stats. When it comes down to it the appearance of the pokemon only matters if you are only playing through the game. If you are battling through Wifi it doesn't matter if the pokemon is ugly or not.

I think Gochiwhateva (the "gothic" feminine one) is going to be one of my favorites this generation as well. I always fall in love with the Pokemon that are feminine.

The pokemon I am really worried about is Kibago and his evolution line. He is no doubt evolving into Ononokusu, the giant Axe Dragon pokemon. It is rumored that Ononokusu is Rock/Dragon. If he is Rock/Dragon and he has stats like Garchomp he will be even more of a threat due to his lack of 4x weaknesses.

Hopefully we will find out Kibago's typing when we get clearer scans so my nightmare can finally end.

I know right, doesn't Corocoro usually give the typing and stats when they reveal a Pokemon? I was curious about Kibago and Okonoswhoopigoldberghacthawhat(sp?) too. It's obviously the Pseudo-Legend family, I just NEED to know it's typing.
