Nicely made I didn't even think you could make a smiley like that :P
Well go to serebii they got some new info on the triple battles that I was talking about :)

This generation is officially amazing, all of these Pokemon are great.

Notice that both Dream Eating Tapirs are very similar in design. They even have the same squiggly line color divider on their bodies!

It is obvious that they do not evolve into eachother, but I just thought it was weird that they would be so similar in design.

I hope that Musharna stands up in it's next evo if it gets one! A pink Drowzee clone would be neat.

That's because tapirs actually have that color line in real life; squiggles just added for flair, so it's not an awkward transition when doing cartoon shaders. Munna / Mushaana's squiggles are more like wave-forms (if you look closely, they are crested), to complement the random flowers they put on it.

I see your point but did you really have to get a male tapir picture?

I'm feeling yo, it is obvious that they are not in the same evolutionary chain, but they could be related since they are too close in concept. The Dream Eating Tapirs. Maybe it's just a parallel like we discussed in the other thread.

Koromori is awful, and munna was made even worse. I guess for every pudgeon there's a munna >>

Haha, I thought Koromori was very cute and creative when I first saw it's face... and Mushaana is even cuter, and a nit weirder, than Muuna was.

If the extend the evolutionary line to 4 pokemon. then it could go
munna > mushaana > drowsy > hypno

also, once in the anime, Dexter says
Said to be a descendant of a dream-eating tapir. It was the first Pokémon to use a combination attack like Hypnosis and Dream Eater.

Pokemon never had an evolutionary line of 4. It's entirely possible that it could change this generation but that doesn't mean it's probable.

4 stages for a Pokemon to become UU? That would be sad. Another thing is Mushaana's ability pretty much separates from Drowzee/

That would be pathetic if a Pokemon evolved three times and still couldn't break out of the UU tier...
Anyway, I wish Ash would have "Wargle" instead of the common bird this time around, It would mix things up and it seems like his type of Pokemon. Also, Pidgeot has finally been properly replaced!

Staraptor really wasn't all that bad for Ash to have. o.o;

I mean in general. Pidgeot was always that classic standard for bird Pokemon, and it as basically the face for them since in the Kanto days it was so awesome. Since, the main birds just didn't carry the same epicness but this new bird, though it is not the main bird seems to kind of have the same epicness, if not more, as Pidgeot.

Okay, NOW, the Pokémon are starting to look like Digimon.

Aquilamon, anyone?

Now, personally, I don't mind, but I hate it when one of the silly complaints on my RUINED FOREVER! list becomes more legit. ;-;
I kind of hope they do start looking like Digimon. At least they might have some decency in the designs then. :/

I can agree with you there. As far as I know, the main bird Pokemon of Gen II(if it had one, I don't remember) and III weren't really given as much attention, as far as I know. But when Staraptor came about, I guess things started to change after that. But I see your point that Pidgeot has sorta been that "symbol" for lack of better terms.

And maybe Ash would get Wooguru, who knows? I'm definitely hoping for a change in more ways than just that.

Yeah, Hoothoot/Noctowl were the main birds of Johto, and it was not only lame, bit it only came out at night (and in my personal opinion had a very annoying cry). Hoenn had a great bird but was only 2 staged like in Johto... and I just never took to Staraptor, even though it looked cool it was boring to me. I don't like what I've seen from the main bird this generation either, but Wooguru makes up for it. Birds of prey are amazing, and with it's ability it will actually have a use in competitive play.
