4th Gen New evolutions/Pokemon - What you'd like, and would there be any?

    Disucss the possibility of new Pokemon being in the HG/SS games, and/or what ones would you like to see in (ignoring the actual chances of it).

    In all the games a pokemon from the game before that could not evolve now can. so which pokemon would you like to evolve or see the pre evolution.
    I feel there is no way they can have more eevees since they made all the possible proper choices unless they want to have eevee with wings

    Farfetch'd. It's stats are horrible. They could at least give it in evolution. But this is generation 4. They probably won't be making any new pokemon till generation 5. If there is one..
     
    The most we can expect are some new forms, unless a time machine is implemented. (Much like in the originals)

    If they do put a time machine in, pretty much anything goes. I wouldn't mind seeing a Shuckle evolution, or a Lapras pre-evo. Maybe a baby Kanga-- it's about time.

    IF a time machine is used, it actually wouldn't surprise me to see a couple new babies in Johto. Any new evolutions probably won't be available until after the E4.
     
    Skarmory needs a pre evolution. Same with Lapras.

    Exactly. This isn't a fifth generation game. It's a remake of the second generation. There won't be any new Pokemon, or changes to evolution, that aren't in place in the fourth generation.

    If this was a fifth generation game, then yeah, new evolutions would be nice, but right now, there's nothing happening.

    The time machine in G/S/C was used to update the first generation to the second generation. HG/SS are already updated to fit the current generation.
     
    Hopefully, new forms won't be introduced in this remake. It's just unnecessary since Gen. IV loaded up so many lineups already.
     
    None. It's still Gen 4, so we'll be stuck with the 493 Pokemon until Gen 5 comes out. And usually, these generations are released when new generations of consoles are released. So, we'll have to wait till the DS series has died before we can see some gen 5 Pokemon.
     
    If FR/LG didn't add any new evolutions, then HG/SS sure as heck don't either.

    Maybe they'll do what they did with XD:GoD and have a few next-gen Pokemon in the next console game (if they're gonna make one)?
     
    Yeah, no new evolutions in the remake.

    Personally, I've pretty much hated most of the extra evolutions they've given Pokémon in G3 and especially G4. It was cool when they first did it because it was something we weren't expecting, but the amount of new evolutions/pre-evolutions in the most recent games was just ridiculous...and most of them looked horrible, too. Please, leave Lapras and the few other G1 Pokémon that haven't received new evolutions alone (except for maybe Kangaskhan, as that one should have been done some time ago)!
     
    I wouldn't like to see any new evolutions or formes. I will agree to some, these are just a remake with some new add-ons.
     
    FR/LG released new Deoxys formes I think, so all we can expect to see is new 4th gen Pokemon formes. But I'd rather there wasn't any new ones at all.
     
    I can't see them adding anything in of that nature.
    After all, it is a second gen remake, not a fifth gen creation.

    We can dream though! XD
     
    still this isnt even about hg/ss its just asking what evolutions would you like to see he just put it in the hg/ss forums.


    but i would like to see another ditto (that would be werid), skarmory evolution and like a different evoultion for metapod and kakuna, kinda like for wurmple
     
    If by new evolutions you mean from the 3rd and 4th gens yeah but new new? Forget about it thats just dreaming.
     
    No NEW Evos. Formes if anything.

    But im sure theywill add the fourth and third generation pre-evos and evos to the Johto/Kanto pokemon. So now in the GSDS you will be able to make your Magmar a Marmortar. That kinda thing. I think they wont add any new pokemon or pokemon from Hoenn or Sinnoh (aside from the evos)
     
    There will be no 5th gen Pokémon, well maybe they could give RED one, but it wouldn't be catchable or have a Pokédex space, there will be evos and pre-evos of Kanto and Johto Pokés from Hoenn and Sinnoh, and maybe after game migration of other Hoenn and Sinnoh Pokés, or some islands with them on (e.g. Sevii Islands) but there will be no NEW Pokémon.
