4th Gen New evolutions/Pokemon - What you'd like, and would there be any?

It's not a new generation. Go admire Burmy formes or something while you wait. Oh yeah, they might throw in a few forme...that, too, is unlikely. We don't have a forme changer right now that fits with Johto. An exception would be if Rotom can fit in the machine part in the pool in the Cerulean Gym :/...again, unlikely. Pt made it sound like the devices had to be engineered FOR Rotom (but the toy wasn't...).
 
The only thing that can seen is a new form of a certain Pokémon, but definitely not new evolutions of the such.
 
This is a remake, not a new generation.
Half of topic: Indeed they should do that, a pre-evolution for some pokemons which could evolve into 2 distinct pokemons (as a pre for miltank/taurus minum/plusle lunatone/solrock, the partner ones, which I consider pinsir and heracross as)
 
I am focused also on Jynx evolving but i highly doubt that because they want to forget about her ever since that race row.

I wouldn't expect this, not even with Heracross or Pinsir, because it is unlikely to happen until maybe the next year or so, when a new Generation and its news comes to be released.
 
Yeah i agree. It's cool to think about but there isn't gonna be any new pokemon in this remake.
 
It is great to think about, and all the possible ideas, but now not, not this game, it just would be too much for a remake too.
 
I dont think Pinsir and Heracross need evolutions. For me sometimes its nice to have pokemon that dont evolve. Plus I really like Heracross already and could picture its evolution to be ugly.

Maybe Pinsir could use one.. But it would be fine with me if they stayed the same to.

I agree as well, I don't really think they need it. I still doubt they'll even have one in the remake, simply because it isn't the lastest Gen, but a remake of an older game.

There wasn't any new pokemon evolutions in FRLG right? They want to save there ideas for the next gen, not a remake. At least thats my take on it.
 
No, there weren't any new evolutions in FRLG. The only thing that was considered new was Deoxy's new form.
 
I wanna use Heracross on my team =x

I don't really think they should change their moves or give them an evolution or anything :)
 
Like many others have said, they probably won't be introducing any new Pokémon until the next generation.

Anyway, I don't think they should add on any new evolutions for Pinser and Heracross. In my opinion, one of the worst things about G4 was that they decided to make half the new Pokémon either pre-evolutions or new evolutions of older Pokémon. The result? A bunch of uninspired, uninteresting and unoriginal new Pokémon that basically ruined a bunch of the originals. The concept of baby Pokémon/new evolutions of old Pokémon was definitely an interesting and exciting one when they first introduced it in G2, but I think they've already gone overboard with it and it makes it look like they've either run out of ideas or are too lazy to be creative any more. There are precious few Pokémon from G1 that still have no evolutions, and I'd like them to stay that way.
 
The only things much that'll change for these two Pokémon are the different moves they had way back then till now.
 
I don't think that Pinsir and Heracross will
get an evolution for HG/SS. Especially since
Firered and Leafgreen didn't do anything like
that. Also I wouldnt want an evolution for them.
They're really good pokemon on their own and there
is nothing worse then a good pokemon ruined by a
new evolution. As for example ... Rhydon's new evolution.
It wasn't needed at all.
 
I agree with what a lot of people are saying, even if they aren't putting them in the game, they don't exactly need evolutions either.
 
Merged the Pinsir and Heracross thread here, just sayin'.

As for my opinion, don't think there will be any / don't want any. Remakes for me, not a new generation / evolutionary phase. Then again, they believe they aren't "remakes," but rather "brand new games" so who knows. =/
 
Well since these are remakes more than a new generation then I wouldn't want to see any new pokemon or items and such. I would want to just leave them for the next generation to come while we enjoy this remake with a turn in the storyline.
