Well, I was browsing AWKWARD ZOMBIE's 'The Big Pokemon Thread of Horror',
and I came across this link: https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=960099&topic=54152536

For those who can't click on links (Unlikely) or if the link is broken, here's the method.

To perform this glitch, you need...

    -One Ditto
    -One pokemon with Rage

    OR...

    -One Ditto
-One Smeargle with moves you want to copy + Rage
    -One double battle.

    METHOD ONE:

    1. Keep Ditto as the first pokemon in your Party.

    2. Encounter Rage pokemon.

    3. Transform into Rage pokemon.

    4. Use Rage.

    5. Have the message, 'Ditto's Rage is building!' at least once.

    6. Spam Rage until pokemon dies.

    OR...

    METHOD TWO:

    1. Have Ditto and Smeargle in the front two slots of your party.

    2. Enter Double Battle.

    3. Transform into Smeargle.

    4. Repeat 5 through 6 of Method One.

... At least, I think that's how it goes. Discuss.

    EDIT: Whoops, wrong Forum.

Extra EDIT: Whoops, forgot to mention what it does. As Yusshin said, it permanantly copies the opponent's moveset.

what the hell is this supposed to do, im too lay to try it out

I'll move it for you. Umm...yeah, what IS this supposed to do?

The link states that using Rage with a transformed Ditto will permanently copy the foe's moveset.

But who actually trains Dittos to a level that they'd be able to beat the Pokemon with the moveset, or let alone use it effectively? Haha.

    so what youre saying is

1.Ditto copies foe who knows raeg
    2.Ditto Spams raeg
    3. Ditto will keep all the foes moveset?

    HERE I COME, FLYING DITTO

    Omgz nice idea =))

    Flying/Surfing ditto FTW

I think. I honestly never tried it, and at the moment I'm in the Battle Frontier. Once I'm done with my Streak, I'll experiment with this.

@ Yuoaman: Those who spam DayCare breeding.

EDIT: It says in the link that Transform can be relearned after, allowing for a theoretical Hyper-Ditto that doesn't need Rage.

BIG BIG BIG EDIT: It works! I did on a Steelix in Cliff Cave (Though ideally it's best with Onix because they know Screech)

    Ditto used fly!
    It's Super effective!
    Trainer Red was defeated.
    Red:......WHAT THE FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

EDIT: I just hatched an idea. double battle ditto with salamance. /Dragon dance, outrage, earthquake, rage/ ditto FTW

...that is now my goal in life.

    SMEARGLE OBTAINED.

    Actually, a better idea.

    MISSINGNO.

    WATER GUN
    WATER GUN
    SKY ATTACK
    RAGE

...Just checking. Can Sketch make Smeargle learn two of the same move? If so, I will break Red's brain.

So... How exactly do we find a Pokemon that knows rage? :o
    I'm confused. :(

    I'm confused. :(

I found that quite difficult myself, so I went to Bulbapedia's page on Rage. I looked at the list of pokemon that learned it, ignored Hoenn and Sinnoh Pokemon, and checked what level they learned it. Then, I went to that pokemon's individual page and checked where you find them. After that, I checked each area and what level said pokemon is found at.

    Bingo! Instant rage!
If you don't want to do that (Or read the Wall o' Text, for that matter) then I'll tell you the place I used. I found a Steelix in Cliff Cave and used that, but type matchups say that an Onix from the same place would be better.

EDIT: Oh. Seems chillxd beat me to the punch.

We knew of this a long time ago. It works with Dunsparce in DPP.

...Ah. Well, I'm surprised. If only I'd known. Well, in DPP you couldn't face Red with a MISSINGNO. based Ditto. Therefore, HG/SS has the better version.

I still must do this. At the moment, though, Smeargle only knows Water Gun.
