New Gold/Silver Remakes!

I like Violet Gym very much! Bricks remind me of r/b/y.
Anyway, I'd like to see Morty's Gym!
 
It's looking great... I like the way you use the original gold/silver gfx... and mixing them with new fr/lg ones!... Anyway good job so far!
 
Heres... Ecruteak Gym!
In the actual map (for now) the floor is actually a dark grey, so I can tell the difference easily between the two on the chipset, but on the final it will be black like in the piccie.
Oh and I've altered the brick's lines from black to blue, so it looks less RBY-like. Thanks for pointing that out! ;)

EDIT: Next to the pic I attached, I've attached an update one where I've changed the blackness to be more interesting. n.n

The black on the second picture looks as if something's gonna come out
straight at you. Adds to the mysteriousness, so that's a definite hands up map!
 
I've done Mahogany Gym as well now. It took me a while to get the ice to look right, but it's done now! Blackthorn gym will be a bit harder 'coz it's on two floors, and also because the maps for the gyms so far have been based on the screenies at www.vgmaps.com, but they don't have a Blackthorn Gym. -.- Time for me to re-install GoldMap then... :P

Firstly to reply to Avatar: I've actually already done a version of each town/city in Johto and a few in Kanto, though many Johto towns/cities need to be re-done with a customised chipset. I was just doing the first 3 gyms and decided I might as well do the rest. But after I complete the Indigo Plateau maps and basic events for each map I will be working on Sprout Tower. n_n
And pkmn310, I have made a couple of Kanto gyms, but I will be waiting until I complete Johto to do the rest. :P

EDIT: I've mostly completed Indigo Plateau, I just have a few graphics in Lance's room and the Hall of Fame room to enhance. :P

I'm planning to release a tech demo of the Pok?gear when I've got it completed, but after that I'll release a version with everything up to completing the league done, then after that the full version. But those two are far away yet.
What I'm thinking of doing is mapping everything myself and scripting the important events (i.e. Gym Leaders, Special Items, TR Bosses), then giving the game to someone else to do the rest of the events 'coz otherwise I'll never complete the game. n.n
 
You should ask Krazy about any CBS problems you have. And I'm sure many
people would be delighted to carry on the project for you? But I would recommend
you do a 'shared' project as it just wouldn't be right.
 
Yeah, I meant to say that. I won't be handing over my game completely, just getting other people to help me out. :P
Anyway, I've completed the National Park, Cerulean City and Pewter City. I know there doesn't seem to be any logic in this, but there is. n.n You see, I'm currently working on the Goldenrod area, that's why I done the National Park, and I done Cerulean and Pewter 'coz I've done their gyms. n_n And, I've attached a screenie of Will's room (from the EliteFour). ;)

EDIT: Just checking for my town map - the Sevii Islands are south of Kanto, right?

Yeah the screens are looking good! Hmm is there anything new to the game... Like cbs, items anything...?
 
Well, the update pok?gear is coming along well, although I think I may just scrap the idea of going through months (since no-one's gonna play on it that long anyway n.n), so i need to alter the calendar page on the pok?gear. The pok?gear itself will contain new functions (that you can get as add-ons), including a Pocket TV, mini-games and an e-mail system (like on colosseum).
I will also be adding various new items around the regions, but i don't want to give 2 much away so those will remain secret for now. n.n
I've not worked on a CBS yet. I'm thinking of using the group project here, but I'm going to wait until all the maps and key events are done. :P
 
Yah, well, I won't be working on it 2 much until christmas coz of school. I'm gonna try and get all the Johto maps done, at least, and make a design for the new islands south of Johto. Hey, maybe i could call them 'Southern Islands'??? ^_^

no offense man that i have looked into your recent progress that most of your grafix aint really good. Worse than most advance version graphics.
